Why is the input marked L1 and N....which is 120 Volts on the line and N is the neutral for 120 VAC if the input is supposed to be 220 VAC? Thanks DD

Maybe it can work on anything from 120V to 240Vs as input, or maybe they used a convertor made for the US market where they use 120V in their grid.

If a motor that works only on 380 volts is connected to a suitable inverter (220 volts input, 380 output)... will the motor run at its full efficiency without decreasing torque or speed? Thanks!

The motor can run at full efficiency, losses only occur in the inverter (VFD). But if your input power is enough, these are not a problem.

Should the type of motor be (inverter duty motor) so as not to be damaged?

Hi, I have my ATO VFD wired up and working, but my main breaker panel is hard to access at the beginning and end of the day when I need to shut off power overnight. What sort of switch, mini breaker or contactor should I use? I would like to have it mounted near the machine between the main breaker panel and before the VFD input power. Thank you!
