muscle mass doesn't equals armwrestling strength, you know Devon Larratt, weight lifting doesn't obviously equals armwrestling strength, you know John Brzenk The more specific your training is the better the results are, focusing your energy on the exercices closest to actual armwresting if you don't have a buddy for that

Agreed, once he gets a longer stretch between matches. It will help him fill out his frame with more quality.

@@seinou7471 They may not equal armwrestling strength specifically, but I do believe supplementing with exercises such as pull-ups, bench and curls won’t hurt you, Im sure if devon and john utilized these exercises in there prime they may have been better armwrestlers, but who knows. Many of the Georgians and American armwrestlers train weights so there must be the something to it. Auden is young and his test levels are at an all time high, he may aswell fill his frame out, he will be a monster

Singles are good but ignoring hypertrophy style training entirely is a huge mistake.
@A_Mystery_Man7 ай бұрын
The amount of table time he gets plus the massive amount of food he's eating does a lot of the hypertrophy for him I'd imagine. Beyond that, these are just his singles lifts that he decided to show us. Doesn't mean it's all he's doing.
@DoctorStrange017 ай бұрын
@@A_Mystery_Man He said hypertrophy style TRAINING, not food and table practice, that's literally why there's a huge gap between the West and East. Those Eastern huge dudes just throw the weights around and have a much stronger base for the armwrestling training. I mean no one really knows what he's doing, but since he's Devon's son, i'd assume that's a huge influence on his training philosophy and approach. Auden is a young dude only starting the journey, he should definitely focus on the weights first and foremost. I guess we will find out in a couple of years whether his training is good or bad in comparison with the Europeans :)
@ninjaxd90507 ай бұрын
@@A_Mystery_Man He is strong, but for somebody who trains and eats non stop his arms are thin, table time and eating isn't necessarily conducive of growth.
