When I was growing up in Hong Kong in the 80s, I remember tasting 豉油王炒麵 from a 大牌檔 that has a slightly sweet sauce mixed in it - something similar to the sauce used on 腸粉. Have you heard of that happen before? Do you know what that sauce is? I am trying to recreate that but I can't find the right sauce.
