Ppl are to quick to sue somebody but not quick to do there due diligence before buying things. It’s foolishness!
@getin394911 ай бұрын
How the heck does someone believe someone is trustworthy when he didn't know the guy for more than probably a half hour? I don't know how this man got to be the age he is now and is still alive. He isn't very bright and it takes a lot longer than just a short time to discover whether a person is trustworthy, a liar or just a person puffing that his boat is AWESOME. He should be stuck with his decision because he needs to learn a lesson that he should have learned when he was in his 20's. That's when most of us learn our life's lessons.

Why? Why? Why do all of the plaintiffs who buy a used car or boat, or any used item say, "I trusted him?", or "He seemed so trustworthy?" Of course, they are being nice to you and telling you just how great this item is, but they can be lying through their teeth! They just want your money, and once you give it to them, they wash their hands of you! Unless there is a title issue, a state inspection problem, or fraud that the plaintiff can PROVE, they do NOT have to return your money! The law is on the seller's side, as these are ALL "as is" sales, unless a warranty is specified, in writing! Spending a couple hundred on a mechanic BEFORE you hand over any money can save you thousands and big headaches! Also, did the defendant borrow his son's tie? 😂

As to the question "worse to buy a boat or a car without getting it checked?" the answer is a boat, because it's far harder to check a boat (you have to get it into the water, you just have to drive the car down the street)

ATTENTION EVERYONE: Always look at the title first to make sure it's not salvaged. Second: if the car or boat doesn't start right away ...you would be better off not buying the vehicle unless you're willing to get a mechanic to thoroughly check out the engine first. This man knew the boat wasn't running properly that's why he wanted to sell it. ALSO...ask where the person bought the car or boat from. I managed an auto auction company and we have a large number of men like the defendant that buy wrecked vehicles and pass them on to unassuming customers. IF IT DOESN'T FEEL RIGHT (NOT STARTING RIGHT AWAY) AND THEY'RE BEING OVERLY NICE (THAT'S WHAT THEY DO) GET A MECHANIC TO LOOK AT IT AFTER THEY ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS REGARDING THE HISTORY OF THE CAR OR BOAT AND SALVAGED ON NON-SALVAGED TITLE.
