Even though the energy isn't the same, I think they should stick with this. The old trio/format would have grown stale eventually and you could see it at times last season - they seemed bored of saying the same things. Got to keep re-assessing and pushing forward or the channel would get left behind. Possibly also the lack of Ste leaves room for guest's like Gerrard and Lampard?
