The story behind the visuals of this song is one of my favorite stories from Japanese myth. It basically goes that one day, Amaterasu, the Goddess of the sun, became upset when her brother, the God of the ocean (whose also a trickster god) destroyed her temple in an anger induced tempest. She locked herself away in a cave thinking no one found her important enough. Since there was no sunlight shining on the land, people, animals, crops, and even other gods were dying. So Ame, the Goddess of beauty, threw a loud and rambunctious party outside of the cave to lure Amaterasu out. She danced so much that the leaves that covered her body fell off, leaving her naked. Her beautiful body glistened with sweat which reflected the small amount of Amaterasu’s light, which roused Amaterasu to come out of the cave to ask "Who can be so radiant?". The gods grabbed her and shown her a mirror, showing Amaterasu her own face. Ame, who usually don't admit other people's beauty, said "You, Amaterasu, you are the radiant one here, so please come out of your cave and dance with us all!" . And thus Amaterasu, moved to tear by the compliment joined the party as the guest of honor. EDIT: For anyone wondering, Amaterasu is Bisexual as hell, so she saw Ame's beauty and the story literally says she was captivated and enthralled by it. Another Edit: the 2006 video game Okami is also based on this story!

I love this cover so much. It feels so fun along with providing such an uplifting message. So I saw this when it first got uploaded and I didn't know if I wanted to watch it; I love all of ham's work, but this song is one of my favourite songs so I was very scared because I didn't want to be disappointed. But... I loved it so much, the amount of joy and love that this song represents was perfectly done and the light-heartedness of everything was present. How fun, hopeful, and uplifting this song is was so well done.
