I'm 75 and happily married but Sissel takes me back to when I was 20. A young beautiful girl, aged 18, fell for me and tempted me on into serious love for the first time. I fell for her lock, stock and barrel. After about 10 months she dropped me like a hot cake. She broke my heart. To this day I still think of her.

I'ts noon, Saturday here in Perth, Western Australia. I heard her for the first time about nine o'clock Thursday night. I had never heard of her before that. Been listening to her every waking moment. Really annoyed it took me this long to discover her. Sissel & Linda Ronstadt are now my two loves in music. I never thought there was anyone who could match Linda's voice. I was devastated when Linda announced her retirement. P.S. You don't need help - enjoy!

I really like the original version by Ray Price, and he sings it with a pitch perfect voice and inflections. This is my first time watching and listening to Sissel's version and after watching it, I can say this is the best one. She brings the words and music to life with her great voice, expressions, and gestures while performing it perfectly. One can almost feel they are laying their head next to her pillow and listening to the raindrops slowing falling against the window, enjoying one last night together, forgetting about everything else except for the moment. We have those moments at times in our lives and when we do, enjoy and treasure them to the fullest, they don't happen very often.
