I met Sissy in New York .... at an event honoring the 20th anniversary of Missing. She is exactly what you see here. Charming, real, a delightful human being. I couldn't believe she talked to me for nearly 15 minutes. I loved every second of that conversation. Later that evening she introduced me as her good friend.... preceded by "what's your name again?" She's beautiful and fantastic. I love her.

I was terrified of Sissy Spacek for years because I first saw her in Carrie when I was 8. Why my Mom let me watch that at 8 is beyond me. I avoided all her movies until I was a teenager and saw her in If These Walls Could Talk. Such an amazing actress who clearly loves her craft and isn’t doing it for fame. I waited on Sissy Spacek, 15 years ago, at a party at a country club here in Virginia. She is a big star, but she was amazingly patient and polite. Every time I served her, she made it a point to look at me in my face and smile and say, “Thank You.” She is ‘First Class’, all the way! Love her!
