Of all the Mineral deficiencies, not once did I hear her mention IRON,🤦🏽‍♀️ which is probably the most common culprit of hair loss that we dont even consider. Women who suffer from iron deficiency related anemia often experience hair loss as well. I was seeing a dermatologist for a couple of years with very little results. I got injections and topical creams and shampoos. NOTHING! Until a neurologist suggested iron infusion treatments, because my iron levels were so low at this point I was suffering from severe restless leg syndrome. And I had been taking iron pills for years with very little improvement. After 9 MONTHS of infusion I notice my hair was beginning to grow and thicken back up.

So True. Also: It's good to Wash your Rice of impurities & chemicals. There is little Nutrition & Mineral lost. Most of it is in the Rice. The Chinese women actually Boil the Rice a little for a few minutes and then Ferment the boiled Water for a minimum of 24-48hrs before straining the water for use. Some fermint the water for longer periods of time.

@@JLPerryTV I get that she had limited time - which is more reason to mention the biggest and most common deficiency that people (including doctors)rarely consider when it comes to hair loss.🤷🏽‍♀️ A lot of people actually know they are iron deficient, but don't know that it's linked to their hair loss. She mentioned copper and other minerals like 2 and 3 times. All I'm saying is she could have thrown iron in there at least once. Doing so would have at least set off an alarm in someone with anemia who was listening.

@@SH-op8lv But your hair IS protein!!! If protein treatments affect your hair, then maybe you have to look at the condition of your hair before doing treatments and go from there. A example possibility perhaps could be that you may not be moisturising enough or correctly, and a protein treatment may be too much for your dry/under moisturised ? I'm just throwing out a possibility as I have no idea about your personal circumstances. But really, there is no such thing as protein sensitivity. People ( not saying you) use things incorrectly and blame the product (s). They may have done a treatment and the rest of their products that they use on a daily etc also contains protein, so this would cause the hair to be over strengthened and result in breakage because the hair is too hair and possibly again, under miisturised. This is why a lot over YTRs harp in about maintaining a protein and moisture balance. Where did this phrase get coined from? I wonder...hth...love and light sister ♥️🧡💛💚💙💜🖤

The bigger picture is that hormonal and mineral balances internally are the root causes and therefore the solutions to hair issues. All the topical treatments in the world won't work unless you've addressed & resolved the root cause. Please don't go dump a bucket of rice water or coconut oil on your head w/o 1st verifying that your hair truly needs it. Many women try all these things & still get NO results bc the root causes haven't been identified yet. Don't just look for quick fixes or only treat symptoms. Treat the root cause 1st, then you'll discover you may not even need a bunch of topical treatments which saves you tons of wasted time & money ❤

@LULU Same here the rice water is supposed to lock in hydration but if your hair isn't hydrated internally it'll become further dehydrated. Even if you are drinking water you are probably not drinking enough for your body mass and or other food consumption is causing excess loos of hydration, therefore your hair skin and nails usually suffer as a result. So it's not protein sensitivity but lack of internal hydration.

Then decided to comment on my comment because in a sense , YOU believed everything this lady said based on her lab jacket, and HER truth of the education she obtained to give to ya.🤔 Now it’s,” Our hair is burned out “ due to chemical use. Yet we wear wigs and weaves. Do you know the purpose of a wig? You out here really thinking we bald 👩🏾‍🦲and that’s why we wear wigs 😩🤣. What’s funnier in conjunction to that, is your nerve to say we’re being laughed at when Caucasians do the same thing and look a whole damn mess with a botched body to compliment the tragedy. 😭😂 I’m soooo laughing at you and your fave right now.💀💀🤣🤣🤣🤣😭😭😂🤣😭🤦🏾‍♀️

Yah-Anna Adams you’ll have rice water minerals inside your body. It may not taste good. If you’re watching your figure that starch may not be what you want INSIDE your body. But you wouldn’t mind your hair plumping up would you? If you want to EAT to grow your hair go to The Minister of Wellness. When you eat your GBOMBS (Greens, Beans, Onions, Mushrooms, something and Seeds), your hair has no other choice but to grow. Never eat mushrooms raw. I’ve tried it and it works. Anything good for the body is good for the hair. Don’t put anything on your hair that you can’t put in your body.

Internal deficiencies is the problem I agree. However the auverydic hair remedies have created adverse results on my hair & scalp. When it comes to organic ingredients on my hair butters, oils, herbs & extracts are as far as I can go. Aloe gel, rice water, spices, apple cider vinegar, fruits & veggies, ketchup, mustard, relish & mayo are a NO on my hair I would rather eat these ingredients. The results are always horrible for me.

Latisha Mitchell 😂 it’s sarcasm! However there are a lot people who have put mayo in their hair for protein and moisture. The point I’m trying to make is certain food sources doesn’t belong in hair and I come across so many blogs or videos telling us to put food in our hair. Food enzymes & molecules are just too large to be beneficial in hair. Hair care products were created for a very important reason and that is for PH balance and many other reasons. When the hair and scalp isn’t properly Ph balanced it can cause hair & scalp issues overtime. I’m not a fan of food in hair and it’s getting out of control. Shampoo, conditioner (protein & moisture), & a natural derived styler/sealer is really all we need along with a healthy diet, lifestyle & healthy hair care practices.
