I know it's unrelated but I think we're gonna see Annie learn to harness the energy of the sun in order to escape her prison. And then with her new found power evolution, she'll show up just after Singer is killed. When all the cameras capture the shapeshifted Annie copy (of course intentionally bc they wanna make her the enemy) And then real Starlight will show up and beat tf out of the assassin (on camera) with her ultra level powers. Like a reflection of when she beat down Firecracker. I wouldn't be surprised if we see a camera pov where Annie glows so bright, it causes the cameras to break. Chameleon Annie probably can't use Annie's powers so it'll be very clear that the assassin wasn't really Starlight.

It would be awesome if Sister Sage is on Neuman's side. Sage is dangerous because of how brilliant she is, Blood Bender team is the biggest threat to any supe. I won't be surprised if she knows all Vought secrets by now, including Marie & co.'s location. Also, when Sage first met up with Neuman, they both disagreed with Neuman coming out as a supe. Starlight would probably get to the bottomless bottom before shes gonna get free imo. I'm not sure she can absorb sunlight though. She's all electricity, she'll need a bombass supercharge & would also need to discharge.

The original compound V formula already had immortality in it. It was taken out before creating Homelander. That having been said, I do think you’re right about time of being the enemy he can’t defeat, I thought it could be himself as he’s his own biggest obstacle to success, but his aging is what caused him to go recruit her in the first place. I don’t think it’s occurred to him Vought could make him immortal. So he’s trying to secure a legacy.
