"You would climb higher, but that razor wire has taught you so well" This song is so relatable in so many ways and it's kept me going more than once.

Fun fact. I lost my dad a few years ago and to say I didn't take it well would be an understatement. You guys played a small show in Mobile during that period that my wife and I went to. She reached out to y'all beforehand, I don't know what she said, but you guys took it upon yourselves to personally give me some words of encouragement during the show. This was probably three years ago, ish, and I'm still blown away. I have the utmost respect for you guys. To take time out of y'all's show to do that for a complete stranger is unbelievably cool and helped me in more ways than you'll ever know. Much love

An instant favorite. I've had the entire EP on repeat since it arrived late Thursday night. The writing you guys do is so great I often use thoughts from your lyrics when I'm teaching grade schoolers.

Have you ever heard Kenny Rogers? I don't think he does
@SunnyBloxOG4 жыл бұрын
Kelly southard Yes I have heard Kenny Rogers. I grew up listening to Kenny Rogers. Both Drew and Kenny Rogers have a slight gravelly tone at the edges of their vocals which is what is referring to. They also have the same general vocal range of a baritone and a slight huskiness that comes through when they're singing in chest voice. In addition, they both can play to a higher range harmony wherein many of their vocals sound similar. That's what I was referring to. Not that they sound exactly alike but that several facets of their vocal tones sound similar in parts. 👍💫

I haven't heard him in such a long time. I know he has had some physical work done. I honestly forgot what he sounds like. It's been several years
