Yes you can feed everyone in a city from within a city. It might not be livestock based, land-abused and unrecycled irrigation, but we can't afford to keep doing that in the country either. The solutions to the problems of agriculture work in the city as well as outside of it. So 'the city' becomes 'a farm.' These are just historical concepts, and we should be looking forward for our solutions rather than the past. This talk doesn't answer any of its own questions, and there's a reason for that.

It's a good research to dig into the reason that why we cannot feed a city from a city or many cities. Is it possible that making the farming land as a canopy on the built environment?
