As an Australian Muscle car enthusiast, im blown away at the sheer size and scope of the American Muscle car scene from the 60/70's. Its very rare here, maybe once or twice a year that an old muscle car from that era is found, but you guys have them popping up on what seems a weekly basis.

they made millions of them for over a decade!

You should make a story about this one person in the San Francisco Bay Area who has over 40 Mopar 440 6 and hemi cars

I've heard of them, but no actual info on what's up with the guy.

'Young Punks' crack me up... I've been in MoPars since 1970, had a new GTX then. I've driven 150 miles at 80 plus MPH with 3.55 gears. Unless you have an existing problem, ANY MoPar engine from the 60's or 70's, even a 318 2 bbl will cruise 80 with 3.55 gears. You must remember... It's not an exploding Chevrolet!

Roy and jamie are amazing down to earth people. I have got some parts from them but the vintage parts are so over priced i cant afford them. Thus why they have all this stuff. Lol roy hates to sell stuff too but thats a roy thing 😂 nice job showing everything so much cool stuff.

All I can say is WOW!! Wish that gentelemen would have the time and more room to spread out all the parts he has on top of the car, these cars weren't meant to be tabletops! 😆

The sad part about all this is is this stuff is actually not going to be worth that much in the years to come why because people like us are dying and younger generation doesn't care
@davidreed31652 ай бұрын
You’re right unfortunately. Jay Leno even brought up this point. It’s like when I was growing up I couldn’t care less about Packards, and Model T’s and all the antique cars that our parents and grand parents went nuts over. I wanted muscle cars. Now I know some older than me guys that can barely give a model T away. Virtually no one wants them. And the same will happen to our lusted after cars.
@davidreed31652 ай бұрын
Rambling again but case in point, I remember when I was 14 years old and we had this little old mechanic in clarksburg WV that my grandad knew. And we were in his shop once and my grandad took me back in this barely lit part of the old brick garage and he showed me this black dusty behemoth of an old car and said: You know what that is? I say, no grandad. THATS A DUESENBERG!!! He said all proud. And I still remember the feeling I had inside. Yay? I guess? Totally unimpressed. I always wondered where that car went since they’re all accounted for.

@@davidreed3165you’re spot on, the young people these days are gonna be full on into powerful electric vehicles. They won’t have any interest in comparatively slow old muscle cars
@AutoArchaeology2 ай бұрын
You are incorrect. We see that young people are heavily interested in Muscle Cars, they just are not able to afford them. As they get older, they are able to buy stuff, and the market will still be good.

Have you checked the wiring harness to the coil packs and injectors I know this may sound crazy but the evaporator canister is another place to check

We checked the harness on the coils, and they all seem fine. I am going to check the injectors today.

Whats the tell tale sign of a Mr. Norms car. What paperwork proves the authenticy of it?
@bradschroeder8092 ай бұрын
Most of the sales records survived, and in the 90s Larry Weiner partnered with Mr Norm to sort through the sales folders and make them available for people to check with him to see if their Dodge was one of the cars sold there. He had the sales envelope for my T/A, which I purchased. It even included a set of keys for my car!

Hey it's al with the hemi and formula s cuda and other stuff. I am mechanic!!! Worked for dodge for years o before I got m own shop !!! So your misfire code !!! Did anybody do any work and then clear codes ???? If you don't clear codes on misfire especially!! It will keep missing !! Now you have code 300 so it's random misfire your chasing !!! But ask if they tryed clearing it dyer working on it and has to be cleared !! By decent scanner also not cheap parts store and as far as lifter. Is it making noise ?? Tapping ??? Have them pull valve covers look at rockers make sure every rocker is moving about same distance as others Incase you have bad lifter or god forbid camshaft too it's possible even know you mentioned it's new motor worth checking !!! Also good scanenrs like mine I have autell. It has option for misfire counter and you can watch all 8 cylinders and it will ount every misfire. So you can see witvh ones are missimg the most and can you tell me if you feel the misfire and if it's low rpm or higher then 3000 rpm also your thing over drive for your challenger!!!! Messge me about that I may be able to help you and very affordable as long as you use it in uur car
@AutoArchaeology2 ай бұрын
It is definitely low speed. And we have cleared the code. As long as I go and drive, no problem. It's happening at low speed usually.
