+Kyle Severy but don't forget the icing on the cake, he came from a foreign country! thats what makes this man so great. that despite his broken english and extremely heavy accent, he still achieved all these things. then he went on to marry america's royalty

this speech motivates me so much not just for my training, but for everything im studying to be a lawyer, i train 6 times a week, stuff like this is what pushes makes me want it, i know i can do it, everyone is born with true potential only a select few unleash it and really want it, if you want anything bad enough you can do it, you just need to want it bad enough

This has inspired so much, I am going to work my way up to the point in which I am so recognized I can walk up to Arnold himself, and say 'ThankYou'. Most people in life have given up on me and most of you will think I am lying. But this has giving me that little extra push I need.

Going to college isn't about doing what someone else wants you to do OR about 'abiding by the rules' - It's an amazing platform to experience and experiament on what you want in life and develop relationships and how to intereact with other humans in a safe and enjoyable environment. You never have to do for the rest of your life, what you did at college... People think college is just another "learning place of something don't want" - find something do want and find college that will give you chance. I agree with Anotnio - Make a plan and do it... find something you want to do and try it...

I would like to just say Arnold changed my life. A year ago I was this weak skinny floppy kid and ever since I heard this wonderful speech I have been inspired I have been motivated to aim higher every single time I pass my limit. I would like to say 365 thank yous. When ever I felt like given up I always remember Arnold's strong words. :) once again thank you!

Arnold was a true example of the American Dream. And while people will most likely remember him for his body, it's his MIND that set him apart from the rest. It made him the greatest body builder of all time, not to mention a great success in everything he achieved. And that included a College Education, Gov. Of CA., Movie Star and parent.

Agree with all six, plus I always believe in not leaving well enough alone. If it's only "well" enough, make it "great" enough. Disturb it, turn it up-side-down, inside-out, plug it in, unplug it and damn it get used to 4 hours sleep a day! Done 4 hours for my whole life. There's plenty of time for the big long sleep. I've always slept fast. Arnie and I are born on the same exact day.

(Continued) And that rule is to believe that you can do it. You are the only problem that stands in your way of success. Pain is temporary, but what you achieve in that pain lasts forever. Failure is almost guaranteed in any situation, but you must push yourself and believe in yourself and the odds will be shifted in your favor. Even if you do not achieve your goal but you have trufully looked in the mirror and said I have tried my hardest. That is when you can call yourself a champion....
