Nick, as always another great video. I love the chessboard. The idea of the double-sided sticky paper is awesome. I use it for layering projects, it makes it easier to assemble. Please keep up the awesome job. Be blessed.

Hello there. super creative stuff you're putting out here. Thanks btw. Hey, can I ask, what is the greyish looking material in the middle of the Miss Jaclyn sign here: 17:29? It almost looks like either a grey wood or grey stone patterned material?

Also where do you get the sheets of double sided tape and the paper sheet to mask the acrylic with?

Hi, I'm glad I discovered your channel! I recently purchased a XTool P2 and wanted to start leveraging acrylic. Do you have experience using 1/2" acrylic and if so, what settings do you use for both cutting and engraving 1/2" acrylic? btw, I'll be using cast Acrylic. Thanks!
@genabush46193 ай бұрын
When you use the "extra" as a template to lineup the letters, how do you keep that piece in place? I assume if you use the 3M tape on the back they will not come off easy once the 3M taped letters are placed. Sorry if you answered that somewhere. I may have missed it.

Hi! I got on here bc I seen your video on Xtool m1 ultra, you had mentioned acrylic in general, is this something the ultra can do? Looking at purchasing ultra or glowforge today. Looking to make hat patches, would love to know I could use xtool to do it.

Thanks for the video! I’ve enjoyed them. Where do you get your files like the character ones? Or how do you create them? Thanks.
@SixEightWoodworks9 ай бұрын
Thank you so much! I mostly find them on Etsy by searching the character name with “svg file.” However, the new XCS software updates makes editing images into layered SVGs way easier.

Make sure you get and pay for the commercial license ones, or those that are royalty free. Stay legal. KZbin has to report and document infringement, so best be aware of what is legal to use

Keep in mind this is for personal use only. You cannot use the names and logos of sports teams in anything g you sell or you are guilty of copyright infringement, trademark infringement, making counterfeit goods, etc. Both college and the NFL, *especially* the NFL, will come after you for legal damages with the low end being $50k in fines, but usually they tend to sue makersfor $250k - $2 million. So definitely don't make or sell anything with those corporate logos. You really don't want to lose your home, car, all bank accounts, etc because you thought they wouldn't notice. BUT you can contact those teams and enter into licensing agreements with them and the NFL. Again, it will cost hundreds of thousands, but it is legal. The law is very clear about this, so don't put your future at risk.
@SixEightWoodworks9 ай бұрын
Exactly, that’s why I always mention the copyright and IP in these videos.

And remember anything that has a TM/R you can’t sell it with out talking with the company’s that own the rights .. be careful. Could put you in jail
@SixEightWoodworks9 ай бұрын
You got it. That’s why I mention it in every video.
@TheExtremeElementz5 ай бұрын
100% right, I find a lot of people who sell stuff like this use the “If you ask me to make it, then your just using my laser time and materials.” If you advertise it specifically it sure is a big no no. I have a hard time even considering making stuff with TM/R for people if they would ask because I wouldn’t ever want to come back to me somehow. Guess that just means I don’t get those sales.
