I remember the days when I could visit LR Solihull with my Series 2a, be invited in, shown around the Range Range production lines, special vehicle operations, etc., take pictures. Even got to drive a rare Lama they used as a site vehicle. New vehicles would come off the line and be parked all over the site, with the keys in them hung from the rear-view mirror, security wasn't really a big deal back then compared to now and the welcome was clearly more forthcoming!

The first two muppets don't have a clue. The visitor centre is a mile OUTSIDE the nearest point of the FRZ which is at Bradford Road, Castle Bromwich, SOUTH of the M6. Also, why do so many companies have this weird belief that their on site policies have any application beyond their property boundary? Or that they control UK airspace rather than the CAA? The suits are so used to employees asking '"how high?" when told to jump, that they get flummoxed when someone who doesn't work for JLR declines to recognise their 'authoritah'. I guess they've never watched South Park. :>)
