This guy is soooo cool, I’m starting volleyball in April hopefully and also hopefully gonna join the team as a libero, I always fantasise about playing and being able to dig and recieve the strongest spikes and serves but when I saw shoji here it’s like my thoughts of volleyball were taken out my mind, Erik shoji is truly a fantasy

Mostly the height of volleyball players are around 6'6 to 6'8 and shoji being 6 feet is short so yeah he's smaller than most of the players

Wow Shoji is amazing! He’s definitely my favourite libero. I’m the middle blocker (well I’m actually not tall) in the team but I usually stay in the court when I rotate to the back row. I’m trying out those cool defensive skills like diving and rolling these days!

okay, so i'm also a volleyball player, granted i don't play in a team yet, or have had any actual matches, but i still feel some shame for not knowing; why do they go after the ball even when it's technically out? like when it even goes through the sponsor boards n all, and other times they just simply call out? what counts as out here even?

I’m a volleyball player too, but to answer to your why? I think it’s because he knows he can save the ball so he just go get it. The point of volleyball is mostly saving the ball as much as you should so maybe that’s why they always go get the ball even though it’s out.
