"Aspirin" or Acetylsalicylic acid used to be made from Salicylic acid which can be derived from willow bark. It has some of the same pain relieving qualities but has more frequent side-effects.

Fun fact duncan. You're right about aspirin basically. It was invented in the late 1890s by Felix Hoffmann from salicylic acid which is found in the genus Spiraea in plants like jasmine, beans, peas, clover and *certain grasses and trees* From what I read it says the Ancient Egyptians would also use willow bark as a pain reliever because...you guessed it....it contained salicylic acid.

Instead of putting 8 arboreal extractors on full trees outside, make a spruce tree farm. Then put your arboreal extractors in groups of 4 facing the same block. Put a block placer down to place a spruce log in that space on a timer. When a log has been used enough, it will break, and the block placer will replace it.

For me, modded Minecraft breaks roughly into 3 stages. 1. The basics where you have nothing very good and want the best stuff straight away 2. The interim where you do everything humanly possible to mitigate the intermediate stuff you don't really want 3. The point at which you find some loop hole that allows you to get the best stuff really quickly then you quit till the next pack

A precursor for aspirin might be extracted from bark of a specific species of tree. It is no longer done like that because the synthetic route is cheaper and more efficient.

To answer thequestion about asperin, It was a willow leaf that putted them on the track acetylsalicylic acid that is the active substance in the willow tree leaf that helped people.

Isn't it the bark, rather than the leaf? Edit: Yep, willow bark contains salicylic acid, which is a painkiller and anti-inflammatory. They later modified it chemically to acetylsalicylic acid, which is less of a stomach irritant while still having the same benefits, and that is what we now call aspirin (originally a trademark which became generic).

duncan you need the void resource miner as it is the only way to get mica which is needed to make modifier blocks to make it faster and more accurate to the lens you use but you need more power to make it work at full speed and then need more power with the modifiers
