😂😂😂😂 I love this guys but sometimes he cracks me up I’ve never seen anybody move so fast and so slow at the same time. All that energy and barely got to the blue line😂😂😂😂
@AJohns47Ай бұрын
You don't have to go fast if you keep the guy in front of you. And you can change with his direction faster with short grips
@NJHC21Ай бұрын
@@AJohns47 I agree 100% bro. But it was still hilarious and we’re hockey players, we bust balls.

This is really helpful drill for Dmen.
@user-dl6vl6mw8c2 ай бұрын
Except to close a gap or to start going backwards, a dman should never crossover on a 1v1. So doing tons of crossovers is unecessary and it’s dangerous ewhen you play against fast players

As a former major junior player this is not efficient. Just take bigger strides with more power.

Tend to agree with you on that. If you’re making strides like this, you’re already beat and likely on someone else highlight tape.

Over exaggerated for the glory of the coach, This is not efficient for speed , but quick steps allow you the ability to change direction and transition in short distances. UNDER CONTROL, not chaotic and yes, fake name, I been coaching NHL development camp for 25 years. Trade off for the agility of quickness versus speed. Two different aspects.
