To address the wax issue… I’m so sorry if I upset anyone by waxing the ledge. The ledge was made of wood that had not been waxed prior to the contest and people who were skating it were asking me to wax it if they weren’t already doing it themselves, lots of people were waxing things including the ledge aswell since after a couple people would go the wax would come off the wood. I’m not trying to make excuses and I’m sorry again is I upset anyone. I’ll try to do better next time 🖤

I don't think the comment was out of hand as was a light joke. Also don't think you talking about it makes it any worse or better as I don't think it was bad to begin with. But I have seen some cool or supposedly cool dudes really show disrespect to skaters in these kind of best trick money contests.....The one that always comes to mind was that famous Long ass triple set with a double on the same part you can also skate....Jake Phelps sat there and watched Enzo through a Massive Hard flip down the triple bolts. Jake legit saw that shit straight up. Enzo not only didn't get any cash, which they def had to throw at others, but I don't think he even barely got a call out on the mike if one at all....but Jake went full Jake mode on mic when Joslin did big spin, or Tommy did his Frontside flip. Legit those where only other 2 tricks on par or a bit better than what Enzo threw down. Others doing worse basic tricks than hardflip got cash and callouts too. That shit made me mad af, I don't know that guy, done some sick shit for skating I know. But god damn that was not cool.
