I'm 65 now, but as a kid, we used to go to Skeggy or Cleethorpes from SK12. There are less than 10 photo's of my life, but I appreciate the one of mum, dad, my brother me having breakfast in Butlins, circa 1963.

54 here, but I have great memories of Butlins Skegness and we did Butlins Filey one year. Great place for the kids back then, loads to keep you occupied, I went back with my kids about 15 years ago and it wasn't quite the same although we still had a great time.

They reason these videos are so good is because you go into these working class so called ‘bad’ areas and you’re almost always greeted with warmth and respect. You’re doing a great job of showing that all of these areas, despite their issues, are filled with good genuine people no different from the people living in more affluent areas. It would be interesting if you made a ‘drinking in somewheres poshest pub’ video, because I wonder would you be greeted with the same levels of respect as you are in these 🤔 Keep it up mate, it’s important work you’re doing 🙏

To be fair though when you get to know these warm people, they do tend to be a bit of a mess and don't even respect themselves, nice on the surface but doesn't really work does it xD I live in such an area, it just "is what it is". But I've also lived in really well off areas and they are meh.

Best working class holiday is Benidorm. Plenty of attractions everywhere, beautiful beaches, guarenteed Sun, warm med sea. And I'd guess it isn't much different costwise compared to doing a Blackpool or Skegness holiday at the end of the day. Also great for stag dos, hen dos, and retiring!

Just come back from there with the little fella. Paradise when youve got a toddler. Eccentric place but couldn't fault it, town is spotless. Good people, everyone just wants a good time. Can't at all knock it. Btw, that's some walk you did from Ingoldmells to Skegness! Fair few miles

Another great video, loved the ending on the Rollercoaster! Churchill’s is a great bar, especially in the day as is Wellies you walked past. as a southern lad i always thought skeggy was just another blackpool and was worth avoiding like the plague. But after seein this it dont look too rough really, no worse than say Butlins bognor regis, actually looks pretty clean and lots of kind faces about! Great video

If you're in Skegness, you must drink Bateman's Ales. They're proper quality English beers. Drinking Guinness constantly is boring and unimaginative. There are great beers throughout England that are in a different league to Guinness.

You should have tried the Admiral Benbow at Chapel St Leonards. It's on the beach and is a nice boozer with some decent ales!! Interior is great, considering it's previous history of it once being a public lav!!! Great video by the way!
