Brianna was absolutely right with the Pirates of the Caribbean Easter egg, at the beginning of the held in a brig scene you can hear the same exact whistling tone as in the very first Pirates of the Caribbean movie while the prisoners try to attract the attention of Max the dog with key in its mouth, Including in the Pirates of the Caribbean ride in Disney parks. The whole second episode was very Pirates of the Caribbean themed and even the space port with all the ships surrounding it had the same exact feel and look as the pirates main port Tortuga scene in the third POTC movie At Worlds End.

The flying gerbils aren't random aliens to add to the quirkiness of the pirate port. That's Fuzzball from Captain EO. And Neel seems to be the same species as Hooter from Captain EO, not an Ortolan. Are they retroactively canonizing Captain EO into Star Wars? I wouldn't be surprised if one of E.T.'s species shows up, just like in Phantom Menace.

Captian EO reboot!
@Vader4700010 сағат бұрын
@@jasonpeacock9735 Well, Neel certainly looks closer to Hooter than an Ortolan, the big difference being Hooter has a bunch of blowholes on his nose (and a few other cosmetic ornamentations) that could easily be chalked up to intra-species variation or medical alteration. (Or something that develops later). So yes, they are different, but I wouldn't say "significantly." Of course the only reason the comparison would even come up is because of the Fuzzball cameo. Without that there's no hint of any connection to Captain EO and no reason to compare Neel to Hooter at all.
@josephkylerogan4 сағат бұрын
If you want to see a species that looks pretty much EXACTLY like Neel, look at the Andravens from Young Jedi Adventures. And yet, Lucasfilm claims Neel is a different species. That's a total of 4 different elephant-based species running around the galaxy!

Jude Law plays Jod Na Nawood, and Haley Webb plays Jedi Ninaa Nawwood, who I believe is the theelin at the dance bar that tries to rescue the girls, so are they possibly a married/divorced couple and both force sensitive? The Great Works are what they focused on in the High Republic books/comics, and include Starlight Beacon, so possibly At-At-Lan or whatever is still working on a project like this.

One observation, tho... Jod might just simply be a Force user. Not necessarily a "Jedi". Also, he might not even be a Force user, since he could be tricking the kids by using magnets hidden away underneath his sleeves. You see this happen in the Doctor Aphra comic.
