@@Watchamacallit000 the only addendum or change I’d suggest to you is that, as much as I agree that not everyone loves Picasso (and even Dimash), whether Picasso is your preference, the recognition of his art as being among the most identifiable in the world is undeniable. That being said, I believe that talent usurps personal preference. In other words, you’re welcome to appreciate and like whomever you like, but don’t diminish those you don’t. There are enough people in the world to appreciate without negativity to others.

You don't need to understand the language to get the emotional message from the song and Dimash. He is the best singer in the world...and also a great human being, humble, kind, generous, respectful and he has millions of fans now who he calls "Dears" I am no musician but like to watch vocal coach reactions of Dimash and I have never heard one with any criticism...mostly just in awe of him. I am also an artist..... I was the same exact way. It was like seeing micheal Angelo paint the Sistine chapel for me. And I am not joking. I bawled like a baby.... I was also a trained classical singer as a young adult. However I also have a form of synesthesia that allows me to see colors with music.... and it was like explosive!!

Dimash lives each song. I always choose to see his live performances because they are perfect. Electric. His flawless technique and impossible range are a given, but there is something else that sets him apart. He doesn't perform to an audience, he shares the beauty of music alongside them. This is a absolutely live and 100% real. Dimash is known for his exceptionally wide range and voice control. He has been trained since the age of 5 and gifted with natural talent and vocal chords. You are watching in English of a 23 year old Kazakh man at the time of this performance sing in French at a Chinese competition. He sings in 12 languages and plays 6 or more instruments. Welcome to Dimash world! You havent seen anything jet!!! This is aboute 1/3 or so what he can do! It's so fun for us "Dears" (thats what Dimash calles his fans becouse he loves us as a dear family) to see how people react to him. I love youre reaction! He makes us cry or just be stunned and losing our words and everything inbrtween to! He is the best in the world!! Some info about Dimash. He is from Kazakhstan and has been music scholld sens 5 years old and told the teachur that the piano was out of tune! He Sings aboute 6-7 oktaves or so! No one knows he is still learning. He sings higher than the piano kan go! He also writs and compose own songs, playes bunch of instruments including Dombra there own kazakh instrument that has a sound you cant belive! He also sings in aboute 12 languages and speaks 4 so far. He is born in 1994. Dimash has an excellent education: he graduated from the College of Music with a degree in Opera Singing, university of arts in the specialty "Estrada and jazz vocals", and on June 18, 2020, he completed a master's degree in Composition. He graduated with a degree in opera from the music school at the University of Aktobe (2014), a degree in pop/jass from the National Arts University in Nur Sultan (2018), just completed his Master's degree in composition (June 2020) and approved to start his PhD. He have done some contests in his life but the one I think got the worlds intension is "The Singer" from China in 2017. The Singer is a program for established Chines singers to face off against each other invites only in a competition where votes were cast by an audience of 500. Dimash Kudaibergen was a last-minute inclusion (a 'dark horse'). But his performance of 'SOS D'un Terrien En Detresse' electrified the audience, his fellow competitors and the viewers who numbered in the billions (this program was one of the most-watched in China and outside). They also got him the nickname "Imported little brother" the day after the show. They also had to get bodyguard for Dimash do to the famous over night both in China and also the world. Dimash wasent really prepared for that. He had come to China att 22 years young man by him self and didn’t knew the language. They hade contracted him for 2 showes becouse they dident think he cold go father than that. He didn’t think they would like him. So he was nervous this performers that he had also to start the show with. But they hade to change that fast do to his famous over night. Dimash got many new friends from this show and he saide at some point he learned a lott from it to. Welcome to the wonderful world of Dimash. I'm so glad you introduced yourself as someone who is not particularly impressed with singers who generally sound the same and don't stimulate you. When I heard that, I smiled, and said to myself, "This will be fun!" And, it was! SOS is Dimash's introductory piece of music and definitely leaves listeners in a state of shock! He sang it in French and, I believe, sings in several languages. I'm so glad you said you played SOS a couple of times in private to better appreciate the body of work without pausing for all the reactions. Personally, I rate him as the best vocalist in the world and whoever is second is far behind. But, don't think all he does is hit high octaves. As you hear more of him he will make you cry and then laugh, sometimes, in the same song. And, in some cases, you will not be provided subtitles but you will react the same way because you can feel the emotion he brings to the song. I know your next song is Autumn Strong (also known as Late Autumn and Deep Autumn) so I will continue my thoughts with that video.

He IS the best singer/performer in the world. His unmatched breath control, pitch perfect 6 octave range, other worldly soprano falsetto and lowest almost growling baritone aren't his greatest talents. There have been hundreds of performers of this song since 1976, but not one has any vocal data to perform it like Dimash did! Maestro Michel Berger, for sure, would have been happy if it was such a performer who would have come to him for an audition - all the notes were effortlessly taken, and how much strength and tenderness in this performance, what actor’s presentation of each line exactly according to the content of the song. They need better managers and more contemporary songs unfortunately. (and there are definitely glass ceilings for all kinds of things...) and lol @ me try to hide my shock and act nonchalant even though my tiny facial expressions betrays me constantly :D Well at least you know I went in with a genuine skeptical mind (not that he won't be good, but what are the chances he is tip top). This was his first performance on the TV show "Singer" back in 2017, where he was invited as a wildcard and which catapulted him to stardom in China. He's also won the equivalent of a Grammy in Russia a few times, but I think he's just starting to put some feelers in the US. He had a concert in NYC last year and recently signed with a US talent agency. Hopefully he gets the opportunity to sing a big movie soundtrack- his voice is made for it!

Dimash has a very high set of moral values. He decides what to sing and how to sing them. Although he has a great trusting relationship with the people he works with, he won't let any label shape him into something he doesn't want. Many of his fans would love to see him go more mainstream (and he is more than capable to sing the mainstream type of songs, has a lot of them already), and he had stated many times that he wanted to introduce his music to the US, even about dreaming to win the Grammys (he's quite the visionary :D ). But he sure isn't doing it through the easy route, isn't he? He did sell out Barclays Centre NY last year though (btw, all his concerts get sold out, all over the world, had to postpone some of them coz of Covid). He premiered one of his songs to the MTV platform recently but interestingly enough, from all the songs he could have chosen (including his more pop English song) he decides to give MTV his passion-project, a Kazakh song about peace and homeland. Definitely not a pop song, though no less beautiful. So in some sense, he has gotten to the US... We'll just have to wait and see what he decides to do next. He has signed up to an agency in the US a couple of months ago, I believe. Either way, whatever he decides to do, he keeps making great music :D. I personally don't feel bad that he's not in the mainstream media yet, he doesn't need to at this point. But if he wants to then it's great that he wants to share his gift to the world coz the world would definitely be missing out if they haven't heard his voice.

Watching as this seemed to happen to you, was a welcome experience, partly because I love Dimash so much and it lifts me up when I see someone obviously "get it" when they first hear him. He is as beautiful a person as he is a singer, humble, shy, generous, kind, honest,grateful, hard-working, uncomplaining...He is like a prince to many of the billions who love him (yes, billions. That night when he sang SOS there were listeners all over China, and he was an overnight sensation.) He calls his fans his "Dears," because we are dear to him. One thing his Dears have in common is that we love to see another person recognize his genius and love his singing. So, if you feel that you have become a Dear, I want to welcome you. It was my sister who recommended your video to me, and I'm so grateful to her. Dimash was born with perfect pitch and passion for singing, even in infancy. His parents who are both in opera, have dedicated much to his singing, and allowed him to begin training at age 5. From that time, he has trained for at least 3 hours every day. He now is 27. He's 6'3" tall. And I believe he can do anything with his voice, that can be done with his voice. Even as a teenager, he could hit "D8" and maintain it for a few seconds. To see him sing with his parents, go to KZbin and put "Dimash sings with parents" in search. You will see with what tenderness they treat each other, the 3 of them, and you will understand much about him. There has been a song written specifically to utilize his abilities including range and also stage presence (he's a natural, in acting the performance). It's called "Ogni Pietra" by Igor Krutoy. I should SO love to see you react to it! Please let us--his Dears--have that pleasure, soon.

I’m SO happy I tuned in to your reaction. This was a competition, so there were no gimmicks. Dimash has been in training every day of his life since he was five!! He was 23 during this competition, and is now 26, and his voice is richer and deeper than ever. Your keyboard won’t have enough keys to determine his upper range - unless you have that new piano just made in Austria, I believe, which added 18 keys!! Unfortunately, it looks like he’s going to be discovered person by person by person, unless his new American agency can kick start his career here. Thank you for checking Dimash out.

Dimash is seen as THE best singer in the world by millions of his fans called "dears". If you would like to be taken on a journey with Dimash, may I recommend you react to the videos in the following order: 1) SOS (Great intro to Dimash's vocals) 2) Sinful Passion (expands on the intro to his vocal range) 3) Adagio (Highlights his stage presence and passion with a song) 4) Olympico (Displays his operatic high and low registers with power) 5) Opera 2 (Dimash having fun with his high ranges) 6) Show must go on (Shows how he makes existing famous songs his own) 7) Qairan Elim (His first video director position). You will find every song is unique and special. Many people will recommend other songs outside of my list. I feel that a new Dimash fan should get through this listing, so they can better appreciate his other songs. But, there is no correct order to go in. I also recommend that you take a look at this extensive Wikipedia listing to get to know more about the man behind the microphone. Two words to describe Dimash off-stage: humble and shy. I too am not a expert in singing or vocal training, what I do know is this...he is a gift from the heavens, given to us to enjoy the beautiful voice he has been given. There is even a Dimash manga series that just published its first installment! This performance on January 21, 2017 launched Dimash to international stardom literally overnight. His followers on Weibo catapulted from 1,000 to 2.4 million within 24 hours. Yet, this was but a sampler dish of Dimash’s art. You were wondering how high that note was on the piano? Pouf! That was nothing! In his rendition of Unforgettable Day (which he composed at age 17) at the Gakku concert, he threw out a 5-second D8, which actually lies beyond the piano. As for his low notes, they are no less gorgeous! Try: Love Is Like a Dream; Ogni Pietra; Across Endless Dimensions; Ocean Over the Time; Ti Amo Cosi; Screaming (at Idol Hits). And so much more. Some of the music videos are amazing visually as well. Qairan Elim, his most recent one, was also his directorial debut. No, French is not his native language, which is Kazakh. You can watch "I am singer" the Chinese show, which had 14 rounds and in each round, Dimash performed completely different genre songs in 5 or 6 different languages. He completely conquered China after this competition and for 3 years performed there all over China. Dimash will have a solo concert on January 16, 2021 in a digital form on TIXR.com. 6 octave range. Can hit a D8. It was live. Considered the best in the world. He was the dark horse on the show because he wasn’t Chinese, invited . After this performance he became known world wide. It’s legitimate. This is a Chinese singing competition on the Hunan Television. I believe it was originally called ‘I Am Singer’ but was changed to ‘Singer’ for 2017. They only invite established singing stars. Dimash was a last minute ‘Wild Card’ invitee. Not sure about the background to that. He actually didn’t not win this competition. It was barely won by 30 yr Chinese veteran, Sandy Lam. Dimash finished second. He had a throat infection around the middle of the competition and a couple of song choices did him in. Dimash was the first NON-Asian ever invited to the show. In 2018 Jesse J won. In 2019 it was Liu Huan. This year it was Hua Chenyu. The show has been canceled for 2021. All singing is live with no auto-tune allowed.
