Hi Toby. Thanks for the wonderful channel content and sharing of your talent. Do you only do line with pure black pens? Or do you use the gray ones and mix them up? Just curious.

Hi Rodney - thanks for the compliments :) very kind! I do have some gray fineliners, but I don't use them much - I tried a few times, for example, doing outlines in blck, and details like brick work in grey, but I didn't enjoy the effect very much and didn't experiment much beyond that. I have other colours of fountain pen ink - brown, pink, blue - I use these for sketching a fair bit, though they are all water soluble inks so I use them for different effects other than 'just' line work.
