It's much easier to see ball motion with multi-color banded balls like the Super Nova or Innovator compared to solids. It's one reason why I started getting opposite colored grips - Helios with bright green finger inserts. 😁

So if a lane is very dry and no oil how does it affect the surface of the lane?? Where I bowl I see lane burn on my bowling balls all the time

Yes it will affect the lane, however the lane burn you see on the ball could also be dust or dirt caused by the pinsetter and not the lane itself. Hard to give a correct answer to this in the comment section.

How big of a difference is the off hand ball speed to the ball speed on the score monitor ball speed difference.

could depend on many factors, lane pattern, lane surface, ball surface and core could have big influences in how the ball slows down during its journey towards the pins.
