Lzzy has more balls in her voice than all the previous guys replacing Seb combined. Though she's already a long time ago proven to be a genuine rocker with full on attitude I did have my doubts if this was going to be just a bit awkward. But damn it if she wasn't kicking it seriously. Positively surprised. Almost wanting to see something more than her just helping out with these couple of gigs.

I've only got to see them live once, on their first tour in 1989 when they opened for Bon Jovi in Sacramento. And now I am going to see them again, 35 years later, in Sacramento (well Wheatland, Sacramento adjacent) in two weeks. Lzzy's sounding great!

slave came out right before summer during my high school frshman year. the video for monkey business was fresh on headbangers ball with pantera walk, and aic man in the box. i ran to the record store that weekend and bought all three albums- slave, vulgar and facelift. damn right, i cranked all three albums in the walkman on the bus sophmore year. 🤯🔥🤘
