We pop the roos around my area then take the back straps & hind quarters for the freezer then wait off the rest and wait for the foxes and have a great time popping foxes .

Best bait I've used for mud crab are rats. They have a really strong scent that crabs can't resist. Have snakes that's why I have rats. 👍🏿

I think it's the rancid fat part that they enjoy so much.... I'm glad they do, cuz I ain't eating that! I would however try the mudcrab. I'm not sure if you guys heard about Hansel and Gretel down there, but when they went into the forest they left a trail of breadcrumbs. This is because they were too young to buy beer. You hang beer cans in the mangroves when it's nearly dark so you can find your way back. Had Hansel and Gretel left a trail of beer cans, and maybe your prophylactic or two, no birds would have hauled ass with their markers for the trail back out. Simply collect them on your way back out of the bush!

Lol we use off kangaroo in our fresh water lobster pots and if you leave them to long the smell and taste went through the meat of the lobster. A good bate we have used is European carp the lobsters love it and so do mud crabs
