It can be layered, yes, and I don't know where the notion comes from that Vitamin C or Tranexamic Acid should deactivate Tret - I haven't heard that before.

Well, yes, it can, but that doesn't mean it should. The more potentially irritating components you combine, the higher the risk of freaking out your skin.

@@DoctorAnne Mature skin (I'm 56) prone to dryness, sensitivity, and rosacea. I've stayed out of the sun my whole life (very fair skinned) so I don't have wrinkles or even crows feet yet. Skincare is a HUGE deal to me!

I read many reviews and someone says that they use placenta from pigs and not from plants because it is cheaper. I decided to not use it again. There are such nice and safe ingredients! Fist of all: You will need more than one serum to fade hyperpigmentation, it is a multistep process that starts with fighting the underlying cause. If you have that in place, then either of them will work as part of a routine dedicated to lightening hyperpigmentation.

That depends on your skin, but in general yes, as the Benzoyl Peroxide is washed off. It can be irritating though, so you need to see what your skin tolerates afterwards.

Medications and changes in the body can be the cause of skin darkening, but to see what is the reason in your specific case isn't something I can say. You need to see a doctor in person that can get a full medical history and exam.
