Years ago, I had a (accidental) Kundalini Awakening during meditation. While I was doused in orgasmic bliss, I was shocked at how slow I was breathing and how slow my heart was beating. At first I thought I had died, but eventually I was able to detect my breath/heartrate. My heart was beating about 3 times per minute, and I was taking ONLY 1 or 2 drawn-out breaths per minute. It was a beautiful, once-in-a-lifetime experience. Merging with "the all" completely changed the trajectory of my life.

Last week, three day in a row, I had my first time deep third eye experiences after three years of effort. And it took all you said it would take. Look without looking. Looking inside the sweet spot. It took awareness in stead of high focused attention. It gave me a lot of insights I didn’t expect. Beautiful experience. After that I couldn’t accomplish it anymore. But yesterday I started bringing my awareness to the base chakra. Eyes open, looking low. Then the magic started. I looked more and more up automatically passing 10 minutes of time. Passing true the chakra’s. In the end I was in the third eye again. Not a phenomenal experience as last week sessions. But it was great. Rowling up consciousness I realized, just as you thought us. Thank you Forest.

Amazing and wonderful! Well done! In the beginning it will come and go a little. This is very normal. Then it will start to come more and more frequently, until it is there every time. 🤩🙏🌹🙏🌹

@@ForrestKnutson Thank you. You mean a lot to me. Strange to say to someone I never did meet. To sense a connection somehow. I’m not in a financial position to support you more then I do, only once in a while. That doesn’t feel comfortable to me. But I will when I can. Cause you disservice to, big time!! You know what’s funny to mention? The first thing that happened after the first third eye experience, was the thought; I’ve to tell Forrest! 😅 Today I had a third eye experience again. I learned it’s very important to ‘just observe myself in the moment’ ‘just being aware of the moment’. That takes a lot of letting go the ego. That’s hard. Only after letting go I can enter the third eye. Then my wife came home. So it was only a short while, but meaningful non the less.

Heart Rate Variability Resonance Breathing has made such a difference to my daily meditation. It gives me a good anchor for my meditation practice. I begin every meditation with this breathwork. It calms my heart and sets me up for a wonderful practice each and every time I do it. The App is amazing.

HRV resonance breathing is so powerful that even on a day when I am tired and the HRV is low, a mere 5 minutes of HRV resonance breathing wearing an Apple Watch will result in a MASSIVE spike on my HRV. These HRV readings can be accessed within the Health app of an iPhone. It is so amazing and so simple!!!

Many thanks for what you do, Forrest! I feel like I’ve come full circle a bit after watching this. I had been having a lot of difficulty SVS due to dealing with early stages of KA, but through this I was able to HRV & SVS like I could prior to the KA. Thoughts have been less of an issue for me than putting attention on the high intensity of KE. I was able to put that aside and just absorb what you were saying in this one (the redundancy in this one is powerful in that way…don’t have to do, just be). There’s a place that’s behind my nose that things tend to center around that went whooooop and unfolded in a really powerful way that hadn’t happened before…like a sharp pain then darkness and a flash of light simultaneously and then it started “dumping” as I like to call it where things fractionate and start getting sucked down the vortex. Now that I’ve seen how taking my mind away from the energy and HRV + SVS can have much more profound effects, I think I’ll put less focus on it during the day and during mediation; that will be a very good thing. Now the next order of busines in understanding I think is the light; there’s more of it and it seems to be less fractal and organizing more into irregular patterns that if I look/don’t look almost feels like some sort of moving indiscernible image. In the same vein as everything best not to do anything about and just continue to glance occasionally but not fixate. I haven’t seen anything directly pertaining to that. The spiritual eye is there but this is more below and in what would be my normal field of vision.

Hola guruji! Thank you for emphasizing HRV & SVS. To quiet the mind you need to calm the body. HRV & SVS does this. By following the basics you will eventually and automatically enter into the freeze response and tranquil breath and eventually the roll up and Samadhi. Thank you so very much.🙏🙏🙏🕉🕉📿📿

Thanks Forest! For bringing us back on track. Often we are aware of these things but forget or overlook this fundamental for ourselves though we preach it to others. Connected breathing is something used by ‘Rebirthers’ a technique developed by Leonard Orr and blessed by Hariakhand Baba.

I have been doing Yoga and TM for years, and got very 'good at' certain things, but I never had any framework for them. It can be a little confusing going into a blissful state and then having no idea where it came from or how to recreate it. It's great having something to hook up to - I feel I need to deconstruct this a little more.

Managed to get my heartrate below 40 sometimes nearing 35. On top of that I noticed that the beats themselves are also more stretched out thus creating lower spikes in bloodpressure. I assume that is one of the goals. grazie Forrest.

I have listened to many of your video’s and found them all to be very instructive and beneficial. I have to say this one is superbly well presented in clarifying the base building blocks for effective meditation. Also the App is really well designed and very useful. I have a question. I have heard from some sources that the production of saliva in the mouth is an indicator that the vagus nerve and parasympathetic nervous system have been activated. I assume that would also show that you would be getting into a good relaxed meditative state. Do you agree with that?

Do you mean ventral response? This is the positive aspect of the parasympathetic system - dorsal is a freeze response which you get get pushed into when your sympathetic nervous system gets too activated, from my understanding of the polyvagal theory.

@ForrestKnutson
@ForrestKnutson 7 ай бұрын
Start with 5 minutes, then graduate to 10 minutes, then graduate to 15. And always have a time where you just let go after the practice so we only want to use the HRV resonance so that we can really bring the parasympathetic online and begin to enjoy that.

Forrest. I have a question on breath. Do we inhale through the nose and exhale through the mouth? Are there parameters to the inhale/exhale? Thanks!
@ForrestKnutson
@ForrestKnutson Жыл бұрын
It is the most economical for the body to breathe through the nose only. If we can just breathe through the nose naturally, it will cause the process of HRV Resonance to be established faster. ...If there's a block in the nose which is a real problem, then we can use the mouth. It will just take a little bit longer. Great question!
@sethsethman6318
@sethsethman6318 Жыл бұрын
Mr. Knutson, I'm brand new to your channel so forgive me if you've addressed this already. Two questions, 1- do I inhale though the nose then exhale out the mouth or both through the nose? 2- do I take big inhales that raise the chest and shoulders or is it more of a sacral chakra breath? Thank you.
@ForrestKnutson
@ForrestKnutson Жыл бұрын
Both in and out is through the nose, and you want to allow the brass to be as low as his comfortable for you. The goal is to make the breath long and comfortable and easy. But not so long that we raise the clavicle or shoulders.
