Thanks Forrest. I have felt the knot in the third eye and had also found the way to solve that was to move the focus further back into my head. As or the third (spinning knot), I have also experienced that in a various number of positions on my spine so good to know it is a normal progression of my meditation journey.
@arobersonable Жыл бұрын
I thank God for you, Forrest. Everything you've described here has happened to me in this progression. Understanding what is exactly happening in the brain solidifies the experience and reminds me that I'm on track. I practice very often moving the energy before I start my kriyas. After several several months of this, I am finally repeating the rewards of dramatic expansion each and every time I meditate. These techniques do take time and practice, and doing them the RIGHT way is paramount.

What exactly is a knot? What does it mean when the feeling of overwhelming energy is in the heart chakra? Where does such energy come from and what can be done with it? What is the purpose? Could I use it to heal others? Or is it a connection with the spirit?

I started doing third eye meditation when I was quite young and at some stage I started noticing what I now realize are third eye knots! They’re really uncomfortable and they’ve plagued me ever since. I found I can rub my hand over my forehead to get rid of it if I need. Now when they happen I know I need Om Japa!

Thank you so much about the first knot at the spiritual eye. The mid of eye brows. I had the same experiences as yours. I couldn't speak to my better half and at one instance I just had to sit down hard. It vibrated real real hard . I couldn't even tell the people who were trying to help me up, as to what was happening to me. You answered my situation. Oddly trying shambhavi mudra helped a bit. Can't thank you enough for this video of yours.

Just amazing! Hopefully, I understand it correctly- after my kriyas nowadays when I finish and just sit with my eyes closed, I can see the waves of light going in front of me. Hopefully, it's the first knot. It goes on for some seconds which is very short and then disappear but it's a blissful experience. I am right or just assuming that it's the first knot Lahiri baba had described? Please let me know! Thank you and it feels as if you tailor made these videos at the exact time for everyone in need. lol! Love and gratitude! 🌹🌹🌹🌹🙏🙏🙏🙏

The scriptures talk about how members in a Yogi’s family will be benefited by their practice or their enlightenment. Is this because of that close connection the yogi has with them? Similar to what happened to your wife? Also, the major difference between knots in The kriya world (besides the prereverse order) is that they are resting places of experience and not blockages as is they are commonly thought of?

Curious..why do yogis and gurus change their prefessional or family life choices after getting enlightened. Like go out of a family setting and stop working etc.
@ForrestKnutson Жыл бұрын
In some cases the yogi can become overwhelmed because of his experience. However Lahiri Baba cautioned against this. That the Yogi was best to keep his householder life, continue in his work, continue with his family duties, and find some time to Hideaway everyday and meditate.

Forrest, when I focus my attention on the medulla, I get pain. I have had this for about a year now. It's one reason I cant focus on that area. Any suggestions?
@ForrestKnutson Жыл бұрын
How does the pain manifest? What does it feel like? Is it accompanied by any physical tension? Are you feeling the back of the skull or are you in the center of the neck?

@@ForrestKnutson if I bring my awareness to the place you said I should feel at home, I get pressure, like it pools up in a spot and like a cracking almost. I did it for some time once and then put my finger on the ridge of the occipital bump on the top of the ridge and felt a soreness there. I never felt the home feeling, just like pain. I had an MRI done a while ago, and they said I had a narrowing in the top of the spine, so I wonder if this is why I feel that way.
