I’m a fellow controller player , that was a great run . Been basically hooked on the game since it came out on psn for free a few months back . Been getting better and better . Haven’t ranked top 50 yet , made it to 137 in H2 FW in the VW ..... and 160 today in a group B delta run with the Peugeot . For anyone who can’t do it on controller , just takes practice and to learn how to be controlled with the gas/trigger finger .

I’m trying for top 10 on any Time Trial leaderboard, on a controller. Also I use no assistance. I’ve only played the game a week and I’m getting close. When I started I used the Classic cars and focused on driving on Tarmac and got down a fluid driving style foundation, no drifting all over the place. After that I moved to dirt, and also practiced allot of “gymkhana” drifting stuff in the “Free Roam” section. I use semi-auto transmission and play with 6 fingers simultaneously on the controller, with a high “Vortex” Kontrol Freek on the left stick.

i have been playing this on a controller with no hud or assists and no exterior camera. and i barely got 1st place in the open start of career mode (i was last place on the 2nd to last set of events dnf the long night track) i get disorientated with the interior camera shake. did you have any assists enabled for this? i struggle with the more powerfull cars. evidently i need more practice, brutal game. i found playing forrza without the assists easier than this(bar the auto gears)
