This takes me back to the mid 90s. I wasn't a massive Skunk Anansie fan per se, but their music always pervaded what I did. I've not just come to enjoy it, I've come to love it hard. This song in particular reminds me of the days when Saturday afternoons were endless, enjoying the sun with 50+ friends and wondering if I was bi or not. I am and these guys and Living Colour helped me out to feel like I wasn't an outsider. Will always love these guys for this, every time I hear it, brings a tear to my eye,

Lyrics I hope you're feeling happy now I see you feel no pain at all, it seems I wonder what you're doin' now I wonder if you think of me at all Do you still play the same moves now? Or are those special moods for someone else? I hope you're feeling happy now Just because you feel good Doesn't make you right, oh no Just because you feel good Still want you here tonight Does laughter still discover you? I see through all the smiles that look so right Do you still have the same friends now To smoke away your problems and your life? Oh how do you remember me? The one that made you laugh until you cried I hope you're feeling happy now Just because you feel good Doesn't make you right, oh no Just because you feel good Still want you here tonight, want you Oh, no Just because you feel good Doesn't make you right, oh no Just because you feel good Still want you here tonight, want you Just because you feel good Doesn't make you right, oh no Just because you feel good Still want you here tonight, want you I wonder what you're doing now I hope you're feeling happy now I wonder what you're doing now I hope you're feeling happy now

This sums up a breakup nicely. I listened to this on repeat crying my eyes out after a 2 year relationship ended back in July. I was devastated, lost and alone. It was my longest ever relationship. I don't know how but when she sings this song ... It really touches the heart in a way that we always find ourselves back through all kinds of heartbreaks ... If I feel hurt or sad she makes up every emotion that felt so real but did not always last ... So when I hear it I think back about the precious times but also can feel the sadness of what is no more ... That is her strength of love when she sings she touches your soul in all your choices of life ... Thanks, Skunk Anansie ...

Listen for the first time. I am 32. Never heard about Skunk Anansie before though I'm rock music fan. In Russia they were not so well known in 90's. Amasing! Among my favorite bands after listening to just two songs.

Still rocking this song now in 2023. Still in Love with Skunk Anansie as when I was a teenager because she is so freaky hot.🥰 Anytime I am in great mood, I came and listen to this track 10 times on a row.🙃 It still feels like the first time and as if she is singing this song about me and for me!❤

It's like she's talking upset at the start and then becoming really tender, caring and nostalgic at the end..really a masterpiece, never getting old

Wow. I've been aware of this bands existence for awhile but never checked them out. Don't know what compelled me today, but I'm definitely checking into their catalogue now. What a great song.

Just because we broke up...doesn't mean I don't love you. Doesn't mean I never think of you. I do. It's just that our happiness lies elsewhere.

A few years ago my teenage son said 'dad - you need to hear this song, it's fantastic'. Obviously I knew it already and loved it (which impressed him!). Then I looked up if the band were touring. Unfortunately they were performing in Manchester (where we live) the night we were to fly out for our Summer hols. Massive opportunity missed, which I will always regret.
