of my experience, getting angry does not in fact turn you into "the hulk". However, it can get your adrenaline pumping. But if the entity or person your "up against" where if it's "life or death" is stronger and/or more equipped than you. You stand no chance no matter how angry you are/get.

They’re basically all cut out here, but there’s a ton of lore in terms of what happened to humanity through enemy descriptions, recordings, records, and other stuff. It’s honestly really well made

this is totally speculatory commentary based on what I've seen in this video. I believe that one of two things had happened in this universe, the doctor created toby to be Mina's little partner, since they lived underwater, it just makes sense to make a humanoid pet thing that can walk on lad, swim on water and breath both underwater and on land, on that note, heres the theories. I. The doctor made toby, his DNA is property of whatever lab he's working on, so now the lab is making more of what toby is, though toby is the alpha version, the lab wanted some changes to make the specimen have a little more intellect, so they can use underwater machinery and work on building more cities or any other laborious things needed be. Over time, this new species grew more intelligent, and more in numbers to eventually create a massive uprising, The doctor did mentioned "we are at war with our own creation" so the soldiers we see going after them are these toby-like fellas, whom had to be changed to work only underwater. The war has come and gone, humans are no more and this species now rules over the ocean, they are the predecessors of Pronty(though this doesn't explain how pronty has human-like eyes rather than fish-like eyes like Toby) II. The doctor created toby for Mina, and the same thing happend, tough the rebellion would never happened because Toby would never been replicated, it was discovered that a Toby specimen would require years to be made at best with the current technology, so a cheaper option appeared, permanently changing the human DNA and physical structure with a machine, thus creating the Pronty species, a fish-human Hybrid. Over the Story, the doctor said they were at war with their own creation, and that was AI, robots were at war with humans, seeing how the doctor experiments could change the course of the war(he could make a super soldier or develop a genetically engineered super soldier), a DeathSquad was sent to eliminated the doctor and his family, these soldiers we see are actual robots modified for underwater operations. Seeing no other way, the doctor used his machine on himself and fought the deathsquad, but failed to save his daughter even after using the book, that was secretly an EMP device, designed specifically to fry electronic circuit, the explosion we see is the said device overcharging, the doctor survided the blast but failed to extract his family, both Mina and Toby. Another thing i must point out, the only way i can see the doctor's machine working is as if it needed a sample of tissue from any living creature, so it would splice the genetic code into the host, creating a hybrid creature, and that's where Pronty comes from, his species are actual humans with spliced Toby DNA, mina is now a computer after pulling a Mr.House on the House, and Toby under heavy stress and rage undergone a Huge Mutation changing his entire physiology into that big fish. I Dont know much else and anyone reading this is free to disprove any of these theories, or simply add anything, have a great day if you reach'd this deep into the comment.
