The bouncing sections are some of the most noticeable inconsistencies I’ve experienced while time trialing, probably more than the mall stairs. The leaves are very deceptive with inputting the bounce I easily misjudge when I should do it. Thanks for the guide for this remastered sky garden training!

almost two years late, thanks to this video and a lot of grind I now have a pretty good time (1:27.6) The leaf superbounce isn't "that hard" To get the superbounce you cannot be in a "boost state" that means you need your SMT to run out before the off-road I'd say that the hardest part is the alignment, the most "consistant" way for me to get it is to be around the middle right of the first leaf when tricking.

Hey, first one of these I've watched since I gave a bit of feedback on Tokyo Blur on the shorter format and I really liked this one - the pauses to stop on points that require more explanation rather than playing the video on were really helpful; and I felt like I could tell exactly what hop, drift or ramp you were talking about really clearly. If you don't take the super bounce strat, I find even just tricking off the ramp before the mushroom's really inconsistent. There's times where I just completely jump over the mushroom and onto the road across, then sometimes, I don't go far enough and hit that tiny patch of offroad and lose all my speed and other times I'll land on the mushroom and get the trick like in the video (specifically on laps 2 and 3 where you have the extra speed from the coins). In other words...I hate TTing this track lol.

Yeah I definitely don’t recommend trying to trick off the ramp before the mushroom with a super bounce unless you do one of those mini turbo-less drifts before hand This whole track sucks though for real

Ok, this might be the first time I've really seen the super-bounce explained - you have to release the MT (stop-holding ZR) just before you bounce, then trick (tap or hold ZR) immediately after you bounce. Is that the same for all super-bounces? Mushroom Gorge, Music Park, the buses in Toad Harbor, etc.?

Basically yea. It’s essentially just a normal mini turbo trick but you’re doing it off a bounce pad

@@raswartzyou go fast lol. That's pretty much it. If you mess it up you'll get a lot more vertical height than horizontal height

4:20 I wanna fix you, The hitboxex are not different due to the character chosen, The different between them is MiniTurbo, with Mr. Scooty you gain a little faster MT's

That is incorrect. the stats are the same, but they behave a bit difficult while drifting and the hitboxes are different

What Erlix said... Biddy and Scooty are statistically identical. The differences are 1) The way they drift/handle is slightly different since scooty is a bike and biddy is a kart 2) Scooty has a smaller hitbox

Ironically 200cc plays almost exactly the same as 150cc for this course. Really only difference is mushroom through the offroad after the mushroom ramp bounce, and then do a shroomless shortcut through the vine section at the end

@@Bayesic worth mentioning that 200cc WR uses a very precise setup to lose virtually no speed during the NISC
