Sky Princess Norwegian Fjords...Bergen

Bergen our last port of call on this Norwegian Fjords cruise.
We arrived early in the morning and had to be back on board at 13.30
We had already booked tickets for the funicular before the cruise had set sail from Southampton.
We had breakfast delivered to our room to save time .Then walked into Bergen and found our way to the funicular. We were straight on and straight up .
Once again we were greeted with lots of low cloud but that soon started to break Great views from the top and we spent a good few hours exploring the top of the mountain.
We explored more of Bergen and the fish market before returning to the ship.
In the evening we attended a party hosted by the Captain for people who have cruised with Princess on more than two occasions.
Then it was dinner and visit to the theatre before bed.

Bergen looked good 👍 the little streets and houses werw lovely . We love to look at all the different fish 🐟 as well . Poor Pearl nearly getting eaten by a goat 🐐 lol 😆. And she wouldn't give up trying to win that champagne, i was willing that hoop to go over that bottle 😄 😆. And please tell if you can where that dress came from absolutely beautiful 😍 pearl .you must be so proud Brian . Take care both of you ❤️ xxxA&J

Hi A&J , Bergen was better than what we expected and was a great experience going up the funicular. We do like any sort of food Market. Pearl was gutted that she didn’t win any bubbly. 🤣🥂. As for her dress I will have to get back to you on that one Amanda . XX❤❤

Hi Helen , Norway was absolutely beautiful 🤩 sailing through the Fjords was amazing, so many stunning views. Of course it does rain a bit but that didn’t spoil it for us . Loved this! The view was beautiful, and that round tent like structure is called a yurt. Have you tried goat yoga. It seems to be a thing. Brian, you looked very spiffy, and Pearl that gown is beautiful. I was trying to tell the color. I always need to know where the bathrooms are. Comes from having children. I can't believe this cruise is almost over. I really have enjoyed this one. Stay well!

Hi Rene hope your doing well , lovely message as always. No I can’t say I have ever tried Goat yoga . Yes we had to put on our glad rags to meet the captain. Pearls dress was a very dark Blue colour, and she did look very nice . Pearls first port of call is always finding a bathroom 😂 . Still one more to come then we may do a little review on what we thought of the cruise. Still haven’t told Pearl about Edinburgh yet .Have a great week and take care Rene XX

Great vlog yet again. We went to the funicular too but with Princess which included a drive around the city. I thought that part of the trip would be boring but it was fantastic. We had onboard credit so it paid for the trip….bonus!. Pearl, I hope you don’t mind me asking but where do you find these wonderful dresses you wear? They are fabulous and you look stunning in them. Years ago I hated dressing up but now after being on a cruise I love it. I need some fancy dresses though!~ Lin xx

That’s a lovely compliment you have made concerning Pearl and her dresses. She said they are mostly from shops that don’t exist anymore, Debenhams, M &Co , she has had them quite a while and they do appear quite often . Pearl has always loved the dressing up part of a cruise because she doesn’t get the chance much at home . You will have to get Rich to take you dress shopping. Take care xx

Hi , no we don’t bother on P&O the drinks are quite reasonably priced. Also if you are on a cruise with lots of ports then you are spending quite a bit of time off the ship . Hope this helps thank you very much for watching.👋

Hi yes you’re correct my apologies. I thought the picture of Pearl on the thumbnail was of a P&O cruise. Yes we did have a drinks package on that cruise . We had the Princess plus package that gives you drinks up to the value of $15 . Wi-Fi 1 device per guest , tips , and some other smaller benefits and it costs £50 per guest per day . Always plenty of drinks to select from within that $15 price range.
