PythonFalls Aventus probably had a choice of dead bodies, the butcher was killing people in the city. So he probably just had to find a fresh grave and steal the organs

KingJacks that’s an interesting theory you have there. Now that I think about it, that makes more sense than having killed someone by himself, when he could have “found” the components he needed for the ritual from an existing dead body. If he’d been an adult, it might be different, but that would have been the easiest way. He probably followed “the Butcher” back to Hjerim and took what he needed from there. Either that or maybe he went to the Hall of the Dead, and got what he needed from there. I suppose either way is possible, and definitely more believable than him having “murdered someone to death” on his own, as Nate says.

From 2:29 to 2:35 you are incorrect. Yes Mannimarco was a powerful necromancer. He does play an important role in Elder Scrolls II Daggerfall. However, he is not the antagonist in that game, and at no time in that game do you kill him. In fact, giving him the totem of Tiber Septim is one of the possible endings to the game, and one of the many endings to be considered Elder Scrolls Cannon (Warp in the West) However, in Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Mannimarco IS the antagonist in the Mage's Guild questline, and must be killed.

Hey Nate. I wanted to tell you Thank you from the deepest corner of my heart. My year started off really badly, finding out several youtubers I enjoyed watching were actually really awful people. I just kept needing to jump from category to category just to not be swallowed up by my growing depression induced apathy. I found you randomly in my recommends one day and you had several things in your favor such as being a countdown list of random facts of a franchise I casually enjoy. Your channel was a sort of safe haven for me to watch that was friendly, entertaining, and consistent. When the drama got to be too bad for me, I'd binge watch your videos for a few hours to calm down. You and your channel were there for me this year when I needed you most. You became my gold standard when choosing new channels to watch and it's lead me to branch off into a lot of subjects I had never been interested in before. For your next one, you should do the random encounter where a thief appears and tries to rob you. Show the dialog if you are part of the Thieves Guild, the dialog if you are wearing Thieves Guild armor, and the dialog if you are wearing Nightingale armor. I have played for 6 years and have never come across this dialog before. Probably because this is the first playthrough that I decided to wear vanilla armor.

Hi Nate! Happy New Year’s Eve. What I love about the Chickenmancer is that they included him as one of the stories in Inigo’s dialogue (mod). I accidentally explored Hob’s b4 getting the Flute return as a quest, so I think it may not have triggered the event where the thief chickadee yells for help. I just found her already murdered to death. I also have a mod for a mace called the Resurrection Rod (NO, it doesn’t “lift” the spirits of malfunctioning rods). I am now wondering what would happen if I used it to bring back to life victims like this thief who were meant (scripted?) to be sacrifices? Would it just be a Roggvir situation, where they drop dead again, for no apparent reason? So far, I have only used it if an NPC or stray animal have been accidentally killed in a fight with a dragon or invading vampires or other predators. Sorry, Darwin! 😁

I actually managed to save that first girl. You can mountain climb up that rock face. If you get up there, unlock the cage, and kill the necromancers from back to front of the dungeon, you never trigger her death. She just stays in the cage and stares at you.

I've never encountered Telrav but got a quest from the steward of Riften to kill the bandit chief at Nilheim. As you mention, none of the bandits there are hostile, even when I murdered to death the one indicated by the quest and it confused me.
