@GoldenLeafsMovies honestly I bought creation club so I wouldn't have to worry about what mods are compatible or not plus some dope textures for both vanilla and cc on xbox plus I mean more content even if it needs tweaks like uccp or the cc mod expansions but I totally understand cause my load order constantly changes and I have to completely start over here and there which takes sooooo long to fix, all I hope is that there could be a way to have more gigs for both games cause there's alot of mods that cost a whole gig to even use

There's a no shadows mid that ....think it's called goodbye shadows...seriously helps Boston framerate CTD. It allowed me to finally actually have fun in Boston . Hope this helps. 😊

As mentioned in the video, the Skyrim update (shouldn’t) break anything other than SKSE64/Address Library. Those will only take a day or two (based on avg) to update and the rest of your mods should work *automagically* 😁

You can't know how a future mod is going to impact existing ones, and that's not even mentioning the esp limit and if those mandatory mods bloat it past 255, bricking the game, because there are already existing creation club mods that we are forced to have that I wish I could remove.

@jaccchann It’s just an educated guess, as Bethesda could break the entire game for all I know. Some creation content could interact negatively if it changes something that one of your mods uses, but this isn’t very common as CC content is usually added all new content. Not changing or replacing existing. As for the plugin/mod limit - Creations use light plugins (esl’s) which don’t count towards the 255 plugin limit. On PC, you can also disable CC content if necessary.

@@colpino4075 On Steam and in your library page/tab, if you right-click the game in the list and go to properties and then into updates, you should see a drop-down menu with the title "Automatic Updates" above and if you then change the option from ether "always keep this game updated" or "high priority" to the "update only when I launch it" option and if you have skse installed, you can then run it from skse exe instead. I think those who have the GOG version would have a configure setting to disable auto updates altogether.

This time around should be a bit more of a bump in the road vs the previous skse trainwrecks. We finally have open source alternatives for most abandoned but integral skse mods and many mods have NG alternatives that work on any version of the game!

MESSAGE FOR ALL MODDERS, make sure to set steam to only update skyrim if you launch through steam, and to be on the safe side set skyrim's app manifest to read only so steam can't update on its own

I feel like they are just trying to sabotage people with modded games to force sales of Starfield since that game is not doing well in sales. CC content can really make the characters set up different, causing new types of char builds and this is great! I'd love to see a larger variety of consumables, like potions and scrolls; stuff that's odd, like potions of protection against life drain (vamps) or wooden swords that cause fear and damage versus vamps. It's 2023 and I'm still excited!

My theory? That Oblivion remake is going to be coming out, soon. What do you want to bet the recent Oblivion gameplay and review videos are being nudged a bit by advertising algos? Petroglyph recently went through and updated their engine for Empire at War and I suspect that retroactive engine updates will be in vogue in the coming years. Compared to asset creation, code base is considerably less costly to maintain and many of these companies have been making engine tweaks over the past 20 years. If Oblivion has a remake launching and is a hybrid of something like Unreal and the creation/whatever engine, then it's highly probable that the skyrim development branch has been whatever they are running on the oblivion remake and they plan to release them as the same overall engine. Maybe I am being too organized or efficient in my hypothetical plan, here, for bethesda/microsoft/etc... But it would make sense to launch a new oblivion with creation club content integrated as well as steamworks. Possibly going as far as to allow cross-game asset deployments and treat the two games as an asset/script/quest pack for the same base engine. Maybe even put starfield and fallout on the same engine... maybe a bit of a stretch, there, but it does make sense to make the codebase for the games as common as possible, particularly if they are going to be going in on creation club content (which I think they are really going to be leaning into with starfield because... it's basically a giant procedurally generated canvas). All of this makes sense to do, so it's probably wrong and somehow the opposite is unfolding - but maybe, by sheogorath's whims, there can be enough order for us to experience a bit of mania as opposed to the general state of dementia we find corporations in.

@ricckywrites4553 There is no indication of paid mods coming and Bethesda has expressed on several occasions that they don’t plan on doing paid mods again. It is something that just isn’t feasible for both logistical and legal reasons, which is why they started Creation Club. Creation Club, as much as some people like to call it paid mods, is just microtransactions. Most of which is made by BGS themselves. Only some CC content is made by mod authors, which are hired as essentially freelance developers to create official content for Creation Club. It still goes through the normal development process, including QA. Hope this helps clarify things!

As long as the next gen ver of fallout 4 doesn't run like complete crap. like when they added 4k 60 fps to 76 on series x a few months ago taking away fps boost. Which made a smooth framerate experience now run like complete crap barley achieving sub 50 fps in alot of areas of the game.

Well i hope they ad the ability to buy mods as dlc content and really hope Ordinator Perks of Skyrim will be available for purchase. While paid mods were introduced and mods will temporarily not work (as discussed in this video), there was also a very real update that included ultra wide support, Steam Deck support, bug fixes, etc. New Creations system should also result in less updates in the future, as the game no longer requires patches when adding new Creations.
