The realistic look to skyrim with low quality, janky animations, weird character idles and bulky models, along with an outdated and poorly optimized engine made it look not great, even on release. Red dead redemption 1 looked much better than skyrim for the same realistic look, and 2 blew fallout 4 out of the water. Bethesda just sucks dick at making things look good

Yes. Everything shown here works with Skyrim VR. I've been modding Skyrim VR since it came out. Most special edition mods work with Skyrim VR. The only exception is stuff that messes with the interface, so things that do things to alter the menu system somehow. This includes things like mods that overhaul the UI to add perks and such. You'll have to find mods that are specific for the VR version for that, such as SkyUI VR. However, texture mods, reshaders like ENB, mods that add content, new quests, companions, weapons, enemies, and such should all work. Everything shown here will work perfectly fine with Skyrim VR.

I use ASO Oil on XBone with NAT, Skyland, and a couple other tweaks. It makes the game run flawlessly, and allowed me to add whatever I want to the game with no crashes. I have Open Cities, several patrol mods, Genesis tripling vanilla enemy spawns, 10+ followers, dozens of new items, etc. and I haven't crashed in forever.

Making the game look like that would go perfect with anime race mods ! Anime race mods look kind of cartoonish , so making everything else look cartoonish would make them blend nicely.

In all honesty, one of my favorite styles is blobs that just barely look like what they are supposed to be. Games like Donut County, and AER: Memories of Old spring to mind. So this basic look of Skyrim looks great to me
