The Peace Council is so universally hated that I'd be so curious to hear from anyone who liked it, & why. The only thing Skyrim main questers hate more than peace council stuff is the Blades demanding Party Snax go down, & that's widely acknowledged to be hated for the same reasons the original Fallout 3 ending bugged: it doesn't make sense for the characters, their motivations, the story, the themes, worldbuilding rules, player motivations...nothing. It's weird BGS seems to have blown the ending to Starfield too. Do they understand why people like their games?

I sometimes feel like playing Skyrim, reinstall it, download some mods that don't work correctly, get bored of combat in 10 minutes, and uninstall it. This was a great way to experience the game, better than playing it myself!

there are actually a lot of combat overhaul mods now. you can basically turn it into dark souls combat if you want to now.

@@SolidShepard There is little reason for this since the animations are still very stiff and clunky. No matter what overhauls you install, it's just not enjoyable to watch how you hit your enemy and see no reaction from them. As if they are just a piece of wood.

LYDIA PLEASE WHAT MUST BE DONE TO WIN YOUR HEART?! Skyrim is such an odd game to me. I played a good couple of hundred hours and remember very little about it apart from the absolute endless pit that was the modding community. Parts of this video were "oh yeah, that happens" of something I've not thought about for 10+ years. Great video as always Shadoh!

Please tell us your fave build/moment? I love hearing about the weird unexpected things that can happen bc every run + runner experiences unique "emergent jank". I know some players exaggerate, but I've seen such crazy things in play-thrus that I just enjoy hearing the stories regardless.

I've beaten the main quest 2 or 3 times. On my first time Alduin's health glitched and wouldn't go down so I had to heal him to finish the fight 😂

What I never understood is the existence of draugr who use dragon shouts. Like, did they learn like the graybeards, or were they all parts of Akatosh, like where’d they get the knowledge? Lore wise it’s weird to take of so many dragon shouters running amok lol

Also to get the Best armour and weapons you have to get blacksmithing to 100 and Enchanting to 100. Unless you go with the exploit.

I've beaten the game each time I make a character JUST to fill up the mod Legacy of the Dragonborn. If it weren't for that, I wouldn't have done it more than twice. I will say I can't play vanilla anymore XD

A better question would be how many people have beat the story *more than once*? I swear that I only beat the main story because it was literally the second video game (other than Pokemons and Nyan Cat flash games) I ever had, so it never occurred to me to do side quests before the main quest. Once I did, then I knew I wouldn't miss anything "important" and could then do side quests (as if time passes if the Dragonborn isn't there to witness it).

I've beaten it once, although on PS3..... Do I still have that disk somewhere? On PC no. It's a long game to do everything like I typically do. It's hard to get to the end without being distracted by something shiny.

Wait those steam achievements stats are not accurate. When you install mods, achievements are disabled. So way more people have beaten the main story than you think

I have mods and still get achievements. I have no idea what causes it since there's a mod specifically to enable achievements and I don't have it.

I have all Achievements in original Skyrim. Special Edition deactivates Achievements if you are using mods. I have no Achievements.
