I really like Fable 1's heroes, no matter how much times passes, even when you're 80 years old, they're always still here, it helps not feeling alone since Wisper's departure (and mother/sister as well)

Briar's design (and the hero's) is a lot better in the original Fable than in Anniversary imo

I loved Briar Rose she had a really cool design. Her clothes, those shades which made he stand out, cool tats and and had that strong female heroine. She was hot too lol. The heroes from fable 1 hands down so much was put into them. I really wish they’d put as much love into 2, 3 heroes and characters. Hands down one of my favs.

Another great lore video, mate. Shame she wasn't fleshed out more in the game. Apparently she was meant to be lost and you had to find her at The Arena, but this whole arc was cut from the game and was never filled.

Briar rose took the suppress uprising mission and put down protesters in knothole glade....I don't know if that speaks of a good hero. In the game I think it is around the time of the wasp fight there are two un-selectable missions one to kill trolls and on to "suppress uprising" after you meet her and she leaves the suppress uprising one is gone.

Great vid as always. Tbh I always felt sorry for her, was obvious she was super insecure regardless of her achievements. I hated her for a very long time before ultimately just tolerating her lol.

You ever come across the theory that Briar Rose and Reaver may be related? I think it's an interesting thought considering they both ar quite arrogant, physically look similar (may be reaching here) and I've read that Briar was possibly the previous Hero of Skill. I kind of hope this theory is true since a big element in Fable is "bloodline." Our Hero protags are all related, we know Hammer is a descendent of Stone from the Old Kingdom - according to Fable: Journey - not sure about Garth (maybe Maze or Whisper?) But I would love to know if Reaver came from Briar at some point before she disappeared or died.
