Seeing him go from garden variety psychopath who sounds like the Joker to a deep thinking morally conscious man who puts on his mad dog persona to protect himself from the harsh reality of life as a yakuza. Zero really took the time to build up his character.

4:47 I think that little "huh?" shows why people maybe shouldn't start with 0. Majima as a character is waaay better experienced when you see him from 1 to 5 before 0 (as it is a precuel released after 5, of course). To many, the "KIRYU-CHAN!!!" came out from nowhere, but it is of course the iconic phrase Majima uses with Kiryu.

In general most streamers always sacrifice the Real estate mini game and I think literally EVERY stream has never gone that far as to do all the substories to unlock Amon. We gotta take the attention spans of the viewers into consideration which is most of them wouldn't want to sit through that grind.

@@DingoEnderZOE2 That’s the main flaw about the Yakuza games, they have good side content but the problem is that they’re not gonna find it or will probably stumble upon it by random. I don’t think I know any vtubers that has played Yakuza and I can guarantee the moment you mention the word, Amon. They’re not gonna know who you are talking about. It’s a shame because I genuinely love all the side content that Yakuza has and like you said about the attention spans of the viewers as well. I’m one of those guys who doesn’t mind watching someone grind but there’s also others will probably get bored with it.

And you can completely ignore them, 1continue straight up to the ending part, and missing around half of the plot. Newer JRPG integrated this system with multiple endings. So depend on how many side quest you cleared, you will get different ending. Or there are some special ending will instantly triggered after you are doing some side quest.
