Slade was one of those bands that was huge in Europe and the UK, but was nearly unknown here in the States. They finally had 2 hits here near the end of their career, this one, and another song called "My Oh My". My oh My is a great song to check out. Slade was also one of those bands that became influential to other bands. Most notably KISS, Gene Simmons says that KISS was actually trying to emulate the Slade sound when they started out. Some of Slade's costumes and props had an influence on Kiss as well.

One of my all time favorites. I don't think there were bagpipes used but there was an electric violin. Another great song by Slade is "My Oh My". Enjoy! 🤘😎🤘
