You've watched this recently, do you know what the backing vocals that Dave and Jim are singing in the chorus are? I have been trying to figure it out for years and still don't have the answer, lol! (or anyone ???)

@@CJ66slade The second time the chorus is sung, the backing lyrics are: "???, can you cough, something's wrong, what's up doc?". The third time the chorus is sung, the backing lyrics are a variation on the ones previously used, but I'm not sure what they are. I won't rest until I find out though, been bugging me for years as well!

First Time I've Heard This For Years ....And It's Still A Breath Of Fresh Air Today......Holder/Lea...The Wolverhampton Lennon / McCartney.......Slade Had 3 Number One Singles On The Trot.....Beatles Didn't....They Were More Than A Glam Band.......A Hell Of A Lot More...Proper Working Class Band....World Class At That.

Slade was one of the best bands on 70's and 80's. They did have fans in the USA, I'm a huge fan. Listen to them everyday and it is like I'm 15 years old again. Thanks for all the great memories Nod, Don, Jim and Dave, your concerts were always fun. Unless their roadie thinks you touched Nod's hat. He yelled so loud the entire band looked over. No I did not touch Nod's hat. That would have been rude.
