I detest the slam ball. I truly do,. BUT the exercise I detest the most work well for me. Works well when you're in mental contemplation of something. I find this exercise works very well when you're trying to figure out some things in your head.. at least for me. Thank you again for a comprehensive tutorial

Yeah i feel that... i did 6 weeks at a fitness camp and lost 50lbs i incorporate almost everything into my workouts at home aside from the slam ball and i dont see the results in my arms core and leg that i want. GRANTED we also spent seven hours in the gym everyday and im only doing like 1½ but im taking that into consideration. The slam ball seems to be crucial UGH! ALSO if your curious about the fitness program its called live in fitness. Give them a search!

I like to pair these up with the jump rope. Going back and forth between the two for rounds gets you soaked very quickly and is amazing for conditioning.

I have a low attention span, and get bored easily..but with this exercise (along with other medicine ball workouts) I can go for at least an hour. Thanks so much for teaching this. I also can be outside and do it, AND it helps get the anger out.

I do slamming ball to a tree 1-2x a week in a park near home. After some plyo bounding exercises. But when at home I use the ball as my target for bokken swinging exercise 😁. Bounces well indeed

The slam ball is my favourite dry land swim exercise. I do exercises after every swim work with my 5 lb slam ball. The target the muscles of all the strokes: fly, back, breast and free. I believe they also work fast twitch muscles.

If you are feeling good, getting results, I would have to say it's not harming you. However, I would also caution you to start implementing rest days so that your muscles have time to recovery and grow.

That depends on a few things. 1. How sever is your DR? 2. Have you done any other form of exercises to repair/ heal your DR? 3. How much pain do you have with your DR? 4. Has this pain increased or improved over time with exercise? 5. Has your doctor advised you against doing any specific forms of exercise?
