Last year, Ch5 was fined heavily for showing peoples faces and audio recordings in a public medium. How do all these filmers on here get away with posting peoples faces and voices in public mediums every day? Calling a member of the public an arse, he isnt a member of the public, he is working, they are working!

@rogerbroadbelt3424 That's a very good post and you ask a good question. Lots of factors involved in why we still have this problem on the platform. The main factor is KZbin. They're an advertising business, basically. They know full well what is going on here but won't remove this content unless their hand is forced. Another factor is the police in that their training doesn't give them the nuanced grasp of the law that is needed to tackle people like this. A further factor is the impotence of the ICO, who are meant to be the enforcement authority for data protection matters but seem unwilling to take action. Another factor is that the victims who appear in these videos aren't always apprised of their rights. If they were and if they persisted in complaints to KZbin and the ICO (and sometimes, the police), it probably would stop in due time.

I'm surprised the government haven't stepped in. They have stepped in with Job Centres, Hillary Benn MP raised it as he was getting complaints from Jobseekers being filmed in these sensitive places. The government told the DWP to stop allowing unauthorised filming in Job Centres. I feel that some innocent people are having their pictures and voices posted on here, some filmers insist on security staff showing their badges, then they film them. Aggravated trespass has been made easier to enforce but the police don't enforce it. When Chummy says trespass is a civil matter, the police usually step back instead of making an arrest. I do know a bit about trespass laws, I had a job where I needed to know. I do feel these modern days with everyone now carrying a camera, drones are becoming more popular, filming and drone laws need bringing up to date to cover the up to date technology. These filmers are making a living from, in many cases, breaking the law, but they usually get away with it by being good talkers and misquoting laws. Some of our MPs must see these videos, then again, I only came accross them by accident, looking for something else and I couldn't believe it. These so called auditors copy from the American audit videos, I keep expecting to hear the 1st Amendment quoted, or is it the second?

Bit of a fan of this channel here. I am a certified auditor through IRCA and as such my job entails a weekly audit at an establishment. To conduct an audit I have to know the subject, build the audit team around that subject and be courteous, professional and fact based. Nothing these pretenders do come close to an audit. There's no opening meeting, no schedule, no following a process, no agreeing actions, no closing meeting, no follow up meeting, no verification of the actions being completed and no sign off meeting. They just rock up and be a complete embarrassment to themselves, their family and anybody around them at the time. 99% of the public would and do react to being filmed in public the way that these pretenders capture and rely on for a few quid. My concern for them is one day one of them is going to go to the wrong place and someone is going to do serious harm to them. Please keep up the good work on this channel the pretenders must hate this channel.

If GDPR didn't cover photography and video, what would be the point of it? You could literally take photographs of every piece of information about someone and post them on the internet without any redress.

I wonder why the police or all of these companies have not made criminal or civil claims. Surely going onto private land and filming through windows amounts to all sorts of offences

I may not agree with everything in this video, but i was definitely gripped me, you seem to know your stuff, unfortunately what I know about GDPR you could write on the back of a stamp. But I definitely be watching this channel to learn more. I felt you did miss some of the video out that made a difference, but hay you do your thing for views so totally understand.

I'm not doing it for views, as such. I don't care about views and subscriptions, etc. I am doing it for education so that people can see what auditors are really doing. Possibly that doesn't include you. You may be a nice person who has just been influenced down the wrong path and if you change your approach as a result of my videos, then good for you.

I have a question about GDPR. Have you or know anybody who has asked the Information Commissioner office. Why auditors not registered?.

One of my subscribers has done so. I made a video about the first reply he received, which was incorrect. He followed it up and the ICO now admit that auditors are subject to data protection but for some reason they're not agreeing to enforce it. I'm not clear why that is, but I intend to pursue the matter in the new year.

⁠@@streetvideoreviewerthe issue is probably made worse by the fact that the KZbinrs are probably sole traders and won’t have a registered address for correspondence or ultimately a court summons. Social media companies are notoriously reluctant to release personal details of channel owners to police or other agencies and will usually only do so for very serious matters (murder, kidnap etc) or by court order. Basic failure to register as a data controller is unlikely to meet the threshold and enforcement or prosecution probably sits in the “too difficult” box. What I’m trying to say is, who do we prosecute, how do we know name and address, especially when they are masked up?

She’s right he is an arse as are most so called auditors. They are the apendix of the of the photographic world as they serve no purpose and should be removed when they become painful. They don’t realise they only discredit themselves by their disregard for other people’s rights. Dj and his new best buddy marti are prime examples of the arrogance displayed by these poor examples of men. Tla could be added to this as he really needs to step back and take a look at himself.
