Plastic glue will work fine to glue to the bases 😊. Painting the paint lids is absolutely genius though! Thats a weekend job for me sorted 😅

If those are the same bases that came in the box, you can use the cement glue on them.

This really shows the problems with drybrushing white over black for contrast. You get big, unnatural looking gray shadows in areas that haven't caught the drybrush. You'll get much better results with a less contrasting undercoat - white over olive or khaki works well.

Slap chop brought me in too. The mistake I made, was keeping the Basecoat too dark overall. So done sleep on that white

do you dampen your dry brush? I've seen that mentioned in other videos, wondering if it really makes a difference.

Normally no but on this occasion I had just cleaned the drybrush so it was a little damp, it does help reduce scratch looking drybrush marks 🙂

​@@MiniatureHobbyist Those scratches can add some pretty awesome micro texturing and template for wear tear. Coupled with speed paints, it provides an incredible base for going back later to add washes and highlights.
