Im an all SRV, Slash, and Jimi girl. I love SRV more than anyone but Slash has my grip too. I completely understand and 100% agree with both of you and I saw him with velvet revolver and that was just great. Fantastic performance and great quality. I honestly pretty much only listen to velvet revolver to hear anything new from Slash. But damn I wish SRV wouldnt have gotten in that helicopter.

I don't know what he's like now, but back when GNR was touring, Axl left a LOT of ticket-buying crowds to fend for themselves... he walked off-stag numerous times and stranded the set. I think the most famous incident was the night James Hetfield got burnt by a wall of fire burnt his arms up in a pyro accident on-stage... Axl got on stage after that, and instead of calming the crowd down and playing a great set, he ended up throwing a fit and walked off. That was the time for him to be a leader.

Yep, it's all good. I've just dealt with this guys issues like everyone else for the last 20 years and you just post you're thoughts and opinions here. I was just doing that. As that is what the reply is for correct? I know bands break up as my was KISS in the 70's and when Ace left, so did I. Then Motley in the early 80's and then they went south, then cheesy, etc. But yes Axl had great songs. Who knew the rest of the band hated them? I didn't at the time. All good, stay rockin!

By that short description on that incident he had with Axl rose I think it's fair to say Axl is sort of an immature bloke blame nothing but maybe his upbringing most likely affected him to act this way but that's sad cause such a guy in a music environment whereby their will always be criticism is gonna be hard for such a guy to get along with band mates, managers, fans e.t.c. but none the less he is a great talent but socially inept.

You're not a Slash fanboy are you? For fucks sake please don't be. Yeah I saw the one where he threw the guy out, didn't make sense as he had paid to see Axl but that was just after the big fall out. Shash and so on said they where bitter too which is understandable for all of them to be bitter at that point. All we seem to hear about is Axl not what Slash and so on have done as well. Also we never saw the t-shirt so it could have just been a rumour. Nobody knows what truly has happened it's just all the Slash hasn't put a toe out of line gets annoying. Axl telling the crowd to 'shut the fuck up' when they were cheering was a bit much as well to be fair haha. There was something else to say but it's gone now, enjoy the rest of your day.

I waited a long time to hear Chinese Democracy unfortuately I was dissapointed, I waited a long time for the Slash Solo Album and was not dissapointed. I dont hate either one of these guys but the truth is this, they will never be as good apart as they were together.

every rock musician from the 70's and 80's is now living in a big house with a plastic wife and 2+ kids. Whatever. People grow up, they can't like the 20-year-old-rockstar life forever...its cool, doesn't mean they sell out. I do agree that metal has been more successful overall than rap, but if you were to compare at bands/artists active today, and the album sales for this year, rap would win hands down. sad but true.
