This is just me saying but I have 4c hair and that “gotta be glued” ( if I spelled right) that your spraying on her hair. That would never hold my hair for that hairstyle. And I say this because when I use that same product my hair stays for a total of 1 maybe 2 hours if I’m lucky then my hair just has a mind of its own( it’s like my hair sucks up that product js).

I think your hair is low porosity if it soaks up product quickly. And the spray you are referring to is Got2B. Maybe you need non water based products if you want it to hold?

No relaxer needed. Blow dry it, or you can try and stretching method with no heat. Then section it and work in smaller sections. Try and use heat protectant silkening serums as well.
