Margarita, thanks for posting this note of encouragement. I'm 50 and terribly out of shape. I loved my ballet classes growing up and am wanting to get back to it but thought I might be too old.

Can guys do this? I'm a runner looking for this sort of workout I.e. bodyweight movements (rather than just more weights) and with core work. I've been fascinated with dance since picking up Ballerina Project online and it looks an amazing workout.

Hi Em, we have lots of people who get into Sleek who have previously run, done HIIT, all sorts. Dance is a great workout on its own but it also provides a great balance of strengthening and lengthening if you run as your flexibility can suffer if you don’t actively stretch with your running. Thanks so much! You can take hold of the leg higher up on your inner thigh to guide it to the side a little lower and more comfortably as an option in that final stretch. xx

I am 55 and finding it wonderful to reconnect to my inner child/"baby ballerina":) Also, I have tried yoga repeatedly but so far still FAIL to embrace yoga. Dance makes my heart sing :) 🧘🏻♀️ 😂🙏🏽🌹👯♀️❤️
