Just woke up from your 7h playlist. My sleep tracker registered sleep cycles that matched the playlist frequencies. I have never slept like that before. Honestly, never; the running joke in my family for 37 years is that if I'm asleep for more than 60 minutes at once, the person coming to check on me needs to be prepared to see that I've died. I did still wake up - I remember doing so - but fell back asleep with ease I cannot recall ever having before in my life. I'm actually starting to cry writing this. I found your account for "focus noise" but this could all be genuinely life changing. THANK YOU.

I did the 8 hour it was weird. At first i had trouble falling asleep because I'm used to falling asleep when it quiet. I woke up when it ended, and the end was i would say violent but it sout of was it didn't hurt just the in and out waves was a suprise when i woke up, and when I woke up my mind felt empty like i could remember everything just like no stress no tiredness or pain. Would recommend

I saw a comment recently: 'working on sleep how you want' - obviously I didn't see the date. I can't believe I didn't see this as soon as it came out. Bad insomnia = 4.5 hours last night, but it was a tailored 4.5 hours that feels worth something. This is my first comment (sorry), been using your sleep cycles & power naps for over 4 years now. I've had a series of concussions, & I really feel the benefit of listening to these when I sleep. I usually wake up to the orange one that is mostly alpha -> low beta at the end. Ugh to the beta beats about halfway through this 😉 - but just what I needed to drag my brain into consciousness. (Ok, a few times...) Looking forward to creating some LONGER (hopefully) combos. Thank you for these!!

WOW. I tried the 5 hours one (ABDRW) and woke up 3 min before the video finished and 5 min before my alarm. I am shocked haha I have been using your videos for a while (beginner 90 min or deep sleep 8 hour). I usually woke up in the middle or waayyy before the full cycle but because I have trouble falling asleep I was ok with at least sleeping for a bit. Right now I am so happy I could sleep for the desired time AND woke up in the W video without feeling drowsy. (I haven't woke up not feeling drowsy in such a long time) So I don't know if this is coincidence or if this playlist actually works 🤔👽 I will definitely try again this or another playlist! Thank you! I can finally be productive today! 😭 Good sleep = Good mood

Hey Jody, just purchased your binaural tracks on your website. I’ve been listening to the 8 hour advanced sleep the past 4 nights and have woken up at exactly the 2hrs:30min mark each and every time, right in the middle of the second sleep cycle Delta stage (give or take 1-2 mins). Any idea why this might be happening? ***MSLT showed my average REM sleep latency to be exactly 15 minutes, some naps resulting in 5 mins or less. The doctor wrote “suspected narcolepsy type 2” but not officially diagnosed. I sleep 12-16 hours a day and still feel exhausted when awake even with stimulants. Hoping that over time I can re-train my brain with your binaurals so I can have restorative sleep once again! Any advice that you have for me would be greatly appreciated, thanks Jody and hope all is well with you, your friends, and your family!*** - Nate

Hey! Thanks for your support, and sorry for the delayed reply -- moving has thrown my schedule into chaos. If you have further questions please contact me here: www.jodyhatton.com/contact/ It's common to wake up at the end of the REM cycle but go back to sleep within a minute or two. An "alert" awake-up won't usually happen until the end of cycle 2 or 3. In your case I'm thinking your natural sleep cycle might not be exactly 90 minutes (they can be as long as 120 minutes). 12-16 hours is way too much sleep! I'd recommend some loud alarms around the 8.5-hour mark and make sure you don't get more than 9. Oversleeping has its own health risks!

It takes a while to get used to them. Perhaps look for some of his beginner files to get your feet wet? Also, it's very important to make sure the listening volume isn't too loud- it should only be just loud enough to distinguish the warble/wobbling sound. Also-also, make sure any usual music settings that adjust the regular sound of audio/music are not active while listening to binaural beats. (Like Dolby Atmos or bass boost) (I'm no expert but these are my experiences, plus what warnings are always put in front of the videos usually- hope this at least helps a bit!)

Hey,I Heard That KZbin Videos Are Ristricted To Limited Frenquency? Could You Please Explain...

KZbin compression would filter out super-high frequencies from the audio -- however, 1) you can't hear these, and 2) they don't exist in any of my tracks anyway.

Question: why is it that I can hear a higher pitched sound at the end than the middle, even tough the beat is 26.50 in both parts? Am I hearing better through one ear than the other meaning the beats don't work right or is there another reason?
@renoblaauw783 Жыл бұрын
Yeah the sound doesn't match with the hertz value displayed. Both r and l do go up simultaneously tho, so the frequency still "fluctuates".

The frequencies are still increasing even though the binaural beat remains the same. They eventually increase at the same rate. But they are increasing ever so slightly.
